PREFACE
This book is designed as a text, easy to read and understand the concepts
of Microprocessor and Microcontroller. tis writen in accordance with the latest
‘Anna University syllabus covering IV semester CSE, IT and V semester ECE
undergraduate students. This book reveals five chapters associated with to
mark questions and answers at the end of each chapter and latest Anna
University solved question paper to fulfil the need of students.
Chapter 4, discuss about the intemal architecture and its operations,
programming of 8086 microprocessor.
Chapter 2, discuss about the interfacing between the system bus and
st management, bus activity and timing. It also deals
with the multiprocessing configurations that are compatible with Intel devices.
‘Chapter 3, discuss about the interface that connects I/O and mass storage
devices with the system bus.
Chapter 4, discuss about the internal architecture with its operations and
instruction sets of 8051 microcontrotir,
Chapter 5, discuss about various interfaces associated with 8051
microcontroller and its programming.
