The Ant and The Dove

An ant fell into a river while drinking water but was saved by a dove who dropped a leaf for it to float to safety. Later, when a hunter aimed at the dove, the ant repaid the dove by biting the hunter's foot and causing him to miss, saving the dove's life.

One day a thirsty ant went to a river to drink water.

But it slipped and fell into the water.

A dove.sitting on a

Tree nearby. Saw the

Ant in danger.

She quickly plucked

A leaf and dropped it into the water close to the ant.

The ant climbed onto the leaf and

Floated safely to the bank of the river.

Some days later a hunter

Came to the forest. He saw

The dove and aimed his gun at it.

The ant saw

The hunter.

Just as the hunter was

About to fire.the ant

Bit him on the foot.

The pain made the hunter

Miss his aim. The dove

Heard the noise and flew

Away to safety.

One good deed deservs another.
