1.INTRODUCTION
In general, the PAPR of OFDM signals x(t) is defined as the ratio period
between the maximum instanta-neous power and its average power
during an OFDM symbol
𝑚𝑎𝑥0≤𝑡≤𝑁𝐿−1 [|𝑋(𝑛)2 |]
PAPR[x(n)]=101𝑔 ………(4)
𝐸[|𝑋(𝑛)2 |]
However, the PAPR does not increase significantly after L=4 . In order
to avoid aliasing the out-of-band distortion into the data bearing tones
and in order to ac-curately describe the PAPR an oversampling factor
L≥ 4 is required.
F(Z)=1-exp(2)………….(5)
𝜋(2𝑛+1)𝑘
𝑋𝐶 (𝐾 ) = 𝛼 (𝐾 ) ∑𝑁−1
𝑛=0 𝑥 (𝑛) cos[ ]……..(8)
2𝑁
𝑋𝐶 = 𝐶𝑁 𝑋 ……(11)
Where 𝑋𝑐 and X are both vector with NX1, and CN is a DCT
transform matrix with N×N. The row (or column) of the DCT
matrix 𝐶𝑁 are orthogonal matrix vectors. Then we can use this
property of the DCT ma-trix and reduce the peak power of
OFDM signals.
