Scope of Work & MTO Compressor To H1
1. INTRODUCTION
2. SCOPE OF WORK
i. The scope of piping and pipeline work is between the tie-in points (Tie-in point on compressor
discharge side to Tie-in point on well side).
2 7/8” Tubing
iv. For above ground, there will be pipe support at every 6 M interval for 2 7/8” on straight length
basis. Readjustment of support spacing is required depending on the layout, heavy
concentrated load or loop.
v. Support may be by piling or concrete support. For above ground piping there will be pipe loops
(4 bend loops), 2 numbers for every one KM length. Also the piling depth may be considered as
2M because of Azraq soil and also because of load coming, which is not high because of gas
handling. The requirement above may need to be verified by contractor through performing the
piping stress analysis using CAESAR II or equivalent software.
vi. GNPOC may request contractorfor providing flow meters and pressure control valve in the Gas
line. If requiredand confirmed by GNPOC, the same will be installed by Contractor at no extra
cost. However, if procurement is desired by GNPOC, there will be extra cost for the same as
per FSF 6 Contract basis.
vii. Construction will be as per the procedure of FSF work starting from ROW, the preparation of
drawing by contractor followed by approval by GNPOC/PMC. The drawings prepared shall
include pipe loops as mentioned above.
viii. For the road crossing, the piping will run underground. There will be wrapping and coating with
bituminous for underground portion.
ix. Project is important for GNPOC and so desired contractor to complete construction of FL from
Compressor discharge to injector well (AZ-H1) within one month from the date of award.
xi. GNPOC will provide 2 7/8” tubing (Equivalent to 2 ½ NPS pipe) for this discharge line. All
materials required (Other than Tubing) to complete the construction including pipe supports
are included in the scope of contractor.
xii. Piping & pipeline and structure shall be painted as per GNPOC specification.
xiii. All construction activities and procedures shall be as per FSF procedure. This includes
welding, welder’s qualification, WPS, edge preparation, NDT, inspection, testing, QA/QC, air
blowing, hydrotest etc. All weld joints shall be 100 RT.
xiv. Tubings are with threaded end. Couplings are also available with GNPOC so the joint will be
threaded with seal welds. In case end thread is damaged, then the ends may be made welded
with approval from GNPOC. If desired by contractor and approved by GNPOC, Contractor may
carry out fully butt welding for tubing connections. PQR shall be performed to generate an
approved WPS by GNPOC.
xv. Final payment will be on the basis of FQM (Final Quantity measurement) which will be prorated
as per the agreed contract price.
