• RAMPART can be cleaned using clear, warm water and a mild soap with a naturalsponge .
• Method 1 (Common stains—e.g., coffee, ketchup, red wine, tea, baby oil, blood, or
betadine): When cleaning a spot, first attempt to remove the stain with a mild soap and
water solution and a soft towel or sponge. Rinse with clean, warm water to remove all
residue, then wipe with a dry cloth or towel. If stain persists, proceed to Method2.
• Method 2 (More difficult stains—e.g., ballpoint pen, vegetable oil, lipstick, or persistent
stains from Method 1): Remove any excess staining material with a wet cloth. Follow with
a wet natural sponge or Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser†, squeezing out any excess water, and
gently scrub. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If stain persists, proceed to Method3.
• Method 3 (Persistent stains—e.g., crayon, permanent marker, shoe polish, or persistent
stains from Method 2): Spray a cleaner such as Fanta stik® or Formula 409® on a towel or
sponge. Rinse with warm water, and dry with a soft cloth. Diluted or full strength bleach

• Wallpaper is back on the interior design scene with a revenge. It is now used not only to
add depth to the decor but to create perspective and fill interiors with moods and
feelings. People tend to be more careful about what kind of material they would like in
their space, like using reclaimed wood instead or going the recycled way and giving
things a second life in their home or offices. At the same time, it’s a great way to support
your local designers and furniture makers who make the custom-made furniture.
1.What is the name of the company, and what types of products does it represent?

4.What is the recommended installation procedure for the material? Are any special techniques or tools, particular temperature, or other conditions required?
Carpet-Your professional installers will arrive with the knowledge, tools, and supplies to lay your new carpet. They'll need access to electrical power outlets and an area to store their electrical tools, so be prepared to
help them set up. After the old flooring and carpet cushion have been pulled up, vacuum the subfloor before the new carpet is installed to minimize dirt and dust. Keep in mind that your new floor coverings need to be
installed over a structurally sound subfloor. Any damage from insects, water, or other problems should be repaired prior to carpet installation.

install it, but you can still do a few things to prepare.
Tex flooring- Both Solid Wood and TecWood floors are a beautiful addition to your home, and we’re excited to help you get your installation started. We recommend hiring a professional installation team to ensure it’s

showroom, using repurposed materials from the original construction and new skylights that let in the sun.

Bernard Thiers President – Flooring ROW.
So far it seems that carpet is advancing as well as many other material finishes
Carpet- It’s getting more environmentally friendly and a few manufacturers are creating fiber combinations that
take softness to a whole new level.
Wood-Preferences in hardwoods are leaning toward darker stains, with a growing interest in gray tones. The
trends are also toward larger planks or toward using multiple-sized planks and toward more exotic species —
hickory, cherry, walnut.
Luxury Vinyl- this flooring category has developed thanks to extraordinary photo technology that mimics wood
(or just about any other material) so closely that you have to look twice to see that it’s vinyl.
Tile- Tile in formats larger than the standard 12-by-12 inches are growing in popularity, though there’s a lot of
variation in regional preferences and those digital prints that you see on laminate countertops and vinyl tile,
they’re also doing that on ceramic tile, so that you might also see tiles that look like hardwoods.
I feel that these products all have different and unique qualities that certain consumers look for but the main one
is durability and being able to manage on a day to day basis. So in all its up to the consumer on what they prefer to
have in their home or commercial space and of course what is less work in maintaining.

every 24-foot run of plank. See installation instructions BPLA-297443 at armstrongceilings.com/installation.

5. What are the products' performance specifications: fire ratings, acoustic ratings, wear ratings, stain resistance, and antimicrobial protection? (McGowan 96)

Strong geometric surfaces have been on the upturn since geometric shapes and patterns made a return last year.
Reflection
Rupert Bevan and his team of skilled artists produce an extraordinary and ever expanding array of glass & mirror
finishes.
Sophisticated Bright Colors
Bright colors are a modern surface design trend generating an energetic and unique ambience.
I feel that these product finishes are more successful and preferred by clients over others because they allow for
clients to have a different more unique style and not so plan like having regular paint or popcorn ceilings or regular
paint on walls and of course other surfaces as well.
1. What is the name of the company, and what types of products does it represent?

MSI Surfaces they have products for all surfaces and molding

4. What is the recommended installation procedure for the material? Are any special techniques or tools, particular temperature, or other conditions required?
Open all boxes and mix up all of the pieces before installation. This will help to create a visually pleasing distribution of stone variation.
A good installer knows that green marble and some other stones require water-free epoxy thin-set.
When stone is installed on a concrete slab at ground level, ensure that a proper moisture barrier is in place prior to installation.

both indoors and outdoors -- feel free to use it for table and bar tops, countertops and other features in your outdoor kitchen.

All natural stone including marble and granite, must be properly sealed to protect againt staining. Without proper and regular sealing, granite and other natural stones are pourous and
can absorb spilled substances and leave unsightly stains and marks.

10. What thickness is used for kitchen countertops?

The thickness of a kitchen countertop is generally either 0.75” or 1.25”. In the eastern U.S. the larger thickness is preferred, and western consumers prefer the thinner.
“There’s a growing demand for the ability to sit in a room and plug in devices that allow for content to be
shown on a screen. Architectural millworkers provide the engineering for the wiring needs so that the
user can use the latest technology to maintain efficiency in the workplace. Another exciting trend is
LEDs. Their many advantages over incandescent light sources include lower energy consumption, longer
life, smaller size, influence on LEED credits and more” (Joe Patrovich).

Daylight, Fluorescent Light, and LED
Light of Wolf Gordon Paintselection

Fluorescent light
As you can see from the previous slide the day light of
the sample shows that is a pretty bright blue. The
fluorescent light makes the sample appear to be an off
white color and the Led light captures it as having a
greenish tint to it. The differences are really crazy and
just goes to show how lighting is every thing when it
comes to how it will make something appear. LED Light

Fluorescent Light
I was unable to get a daylight copy is really
bright and shows it as a beautiful bright vibrant
color were as the fluorescent lighting shows it to
be a bit dull and the LED lighting shows it as a
dark but yet still vibrant.

Light of Marlite Materials
Fluorescent Light
As you can see there is a huge difference in shade due
to the different light sources that we used. And a big
difference it is! The daylight picture shows the material
with its natural state of color. The middle picture was
taken with the fluorescent lighting and it kind of gave it
a shade of bronze and it really makes the pattern design
LED Light
pop out in great detail. The last picture was using LED
light source and it gives it a slate black shade to the
material and gives it a classy upscale type of look.

As you can see the differences in the light sources on how the
material is seen to the eye. The daylight image shows its true
beauty and detail of the material. The second image is the
fluorescent lighting and its almost compares to the natural light but
not quite. The LED lighting captures the material in a more yellow
tone. LED Light
