1) Eat fruit by itself on an empty stomach. Let 30 minutes pass after eating fruit
before eating other category fruits/ meals. In other words, eat fruits 30 minutes
before a meal.
2) Eat fruits for breakfast. Fruits (Melons, Acid fruits, Sun-acid fruits) should be
eaten between 5 am to 12 noon.
3) Eat melons separate from other fruits. Do not combine fruit(s) in one category
above with any other category fruit(s).
4) Eat fully ripened fruits for good health benefits.
5) Most fresh fruits can, however, be paired with raw LEAFY greens in salads or
smoothies, without impeding digestion
6) Banana can be eaten any time, 30 minutes before/ after a breakfast / lunch/
dinner. Banana can be eaten even after 8 pm.
7) Bananas are an exception to the fruit rule. They can be combined with fresh
fruits OR with nuts, seeds and dried fruits.
8) All berries can be combined with Fats.
9) Cranberries are not good for health.
10) Bananas, Avocado and Young Coconut – although technically fruits, can be
combined in different categories because of their consistency.
11) Avocados can be combined with starches OR with fresh fruit OR with dried fruit.
Best with green vegetables, fair with starches.
12) Avocado combines well with all foods except proteins and melons.
