I am writing to complain about the Cataway that I purchased from you in July. It is not working
correctly.
rd
I received the product on 23 March. Following the instructions in the box, I carefully set up the
Cataway in the corner of our garden. I allowed it to charge for the required 6 hours before turning it
on.
Once it was turned on, the Cataway completely ignored all the cats that wandered in and out of our
garden. It did, however, squirt water both at my daughter and at my self. This was not very pleasant.
I purchased this product to get rid of cats, not to provide outdoor showering facilities for my family.
I would either like this faulty product replaced with a working version or a full refund on the money
I have wasted. I expect to receive a response to my letter within 14 working days or I will seek legal
advice.
Yours faithfully,

things.
There is no one best way to deal with pests in agriculture. Pesticides are commonly used, but this
may cause many problems.
Combining different management operations is the most effective way to control pests.
As well, pests can become resistant to pesticides gradually. This means that newer and stronger
ones have to be developed.
Some pesticides affect non target animals such as fish and bees. This affects the natural balance.
To wipe out agricultural pests completely may be very expensive. Sometimes pest damage costs
less than the method of control.
Finally, understanding the ecology of the area helps a lot in pest control. Natural enemies can be
used to control a pest. Pesticides that do not affect the natural enemies should be chosen.
Therefore, integrated pest management is a safe and more effective option in agriculture.

Do you know the moon? At night you can see it shining brightly in the sky. The moon is one
of the objects in space. Because people are curious about the things, they study the space and the
things in it. The science that studies these things is called astronomy. Astronomy deals with objects
such as the sun, the moon, and even stars and other objects outside the solar system. It studies
thousands of millions of stars that form the galaxies. Our galaxy is one of the thousands of million
galaxies that make up the universe. Astronomy is the oldest science. A person who is expert in
astronomy is called an astronomer.
Ancient people discovered many important uses of astronomy. The position of the rising
and setting sun was to mark out the season of the year. Astronomy was used to calculate accurate
time to mark the length of the year and to draw up the first callenders. Travelers in the desert and
seafarers used the sun by the day and the stars by the night to find their way.

There are hot spots in the Earth's crust where heat melts underground rock. As the rock melts,
gases are released and mix with molten rock called magma. The magma bubbles and rises,
cutting through the rock, creating a channel. It then accumulates in a magma chamber deep
underground.
Over time, high pressure caused by both the magma and gases build up in the chamber, forcing
the magma to rise and causing the volcano to form as a mountain. Then it violently explodes out
the top and even the sides of the volcano! Fiery rocks and ash rain down from out of the sky after
an eruption. But sometimes, lava, which is what the magma is called after it comes out of the
volcano, quietly oozes out of one or several holes ( called vents ) with no explosion at all.
A. magma
B. eruption
C. the volcano
D. lava

Earthquake often happens around us. It brings great damages. Earthquake is hard to be
predicted and that makes lot victims.
Actually there are three kinds of earthquake. This kinds of earthquake are commonly base on
the factor and geological area where the earthquakes happen. These three kinds of earthquake
are tectonic, volcanic and explosion.
Tectonic earthquakes is most common one. This kind of earthquake (___48___) while earth's
crust rocks break because of the geological strength created by moving of the earth's plates.
Volcanic earthquakes happen exactly with volcanic activity. Volcanic earthquakes are when the
volcano produces acidic lava, which drys quickly, when it drys (___49___) it blocks the top of
the volcano. This make no more magma can escape. Pressure starts to build up and eventually
the acidic lava can no longer stand the pressure. (____50____) the volcano is free to explode,
the pressure is released so fast that an earthquake is caused. A volcanic earthquake is usually
kept within 10-20 miles of the volcano.
