CeSP certifies the organizations in food chain as per Pakistan Halaal Food
Standard (PS 3733) i.e Halaal Food Management System Requirements for Any
Organization in Food Chain. The CeSP also ensures that such products are in
compliance to Organization of Islamic Countries’ General Guidelines on Halaal
Food (OIC/SMIIC 1) & other applicable regulatory requirements.

Halaal Certification Process
There are two types of Halaal food certifications offered by CeSP.
Option A: 3 Years certification cycles with surveillance visits usually on annual
basis as per Pakistan Halaal Food Standard (PS 3733) & OIC Guidelines
(OIC/SMIIC‐1). Option A is explained in Figure 1 below.
