REPORT OF A.I's Barrister A.R.Antulay College of Law, 2017-18
1. Application of Proposal of Continuation of Affiliation and Natural Growth for Academic

Year 2019-2020 processed and submitted with University of Mumbai.
2. Promotion of 48 FYLLB students (against 60 admitted in first year in 2017-18) to SYLLB

for the academic year 2018-19.
3. Constitution of College Development Committee with the approval of the Honorable

President on 15th August 2018.
4. Appointment of Teaching Staff on ad-hoc Contractual Basis for the Academic year 2018-
19.
5. Admission process for FYLLB for academic year 2018-19 in progress. Last date for
admission is 3rd November 2018. Three CAP rounds secured 28 students (Open- 04,
Minority- 23, OMS- 01). 32 seats vacant against Offline/Institutional Round- Open- 4,
Minority-8, OMS-8, Management-9, NRI-3.
6. Conducted University Internal Examination comprising of 40 marks component for

Regular and K.T. students ( Class test, Pleadings in form of Presentations, Submissions,
Drafting etc) in the College for the first half of academic year 2018-19 as per the mandate
of University of Mumbai under the 60:40 Rule.
1. The 60:40 Rule stayed by the Bombay High Court on 29th October, 2018 reversing the
pattern of studies from 60:40 back to the traditional 100 marks exam to be conducted by
the University.
2. Organized Guest Lecture for SYLLB on ‘Transfer Of Property Laws’ by Dr. Subhash
Sonkar on 29th September, 2018.
3. Organised Guest Lecture for SYLLB on ‘Administrative Laws’ by Prof. Anurag Ahir,
(Professor in Department of Law, University of Mumbai) on 20th October, 2018.
4. Organised visit to SEBI (Security and Exchange Board of India) on 17h October, 2018 for
SYLLB students for Company Law.
5. Organised a Workshop on ‘Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation’ in association with Saifee

Hospital on World Heart Day i.e.23rd October, 2018.
6. Participation and Donation of blood by our Students in Blood Donation Camp organized
by A.I’s Allana Institute of Management Studies organized on 30th October, 2018.
7. Commencement of FYLLB lectures from November 2018 for this academic year.
8. Faculty Development Program. (Participation by Ms. Falaknaz Danish)
 Participation and Paper Publication on ‘’Police Malfeasance Against Socially and

Economically Weaker Sections of the Society” in Aligarh Law Journal by Department of
Law, Aligarh Muslim University.
 Participation and Paper Presentation on ‘Status of Muslim Women in Islam’ in National
Conference organized by State Commission for Women in association with Dr. Ambedkar
College of Law & Department of History, University of Mumbai.
 Participation and Paper Presentation on ‘Hate Crimes Against Muslim Minorities- Causes
and Implications’ in National Conference organized by St. Wilfred College of Law and
received Second Best Paper Prize.
 Participation and Paper Presentation on ‘Hate Crimes Towards Women Today: A
Disruptive Nation Tomorrow’ in National Conference organized by Thakur College of
Law.
 Participation in Workshop on ‘Research Tools-Univariate and Bivariate Technique in
SPSS’ organized by A.I.’s Allana Institute of Management Studies.
9. Processed the Compliances and mandates of Fees Regulating Authority fees for 2019-20
10. Conducted Interview and selected 01 candidate ( Mrs. Falaknaz Danish saikh) for the post
of Assistant Professor (Approved Post) on 30/11/2018.
11. Conducted Elocution Competition to celebrate Maulana Azad Literacy Day in association
with Forum for Free Enterprise (NGO), who gave cash prizes to our Top 03 winners.
12. Conducted Legal Awareness Programme in association with Global Care Foundation on
28/11/2018 with key speakers Mr. Gamey (Secretary-District Legal Service authority and
Mr. Yogesh Khanure (Sub Inspector Cyber Crime Cell), BKC.
In-pipeline:
1. Awaiting Bar Council of India Visit and Letter of Approval for Academic Year 2018-2019.
The same has been communicated to Mr. Shagaf Nakid and reminders followed up with
Mr. Nambiar by both.
2. Conduct Intra College Curtain Raiser at the hands of Judge of High Court after the
commencement of current FYLLB for the academic year 2018-19.
3. Conduct Intra sports event in the month of December 2018.
4. Conduct Para Legal training Programme in association with District Legal Service
Authority and NGO - Global Care Foundation, Dongri.
5. Conduct Legal Literacy Programme in association with Degree College for sensitization
of students on basic Laws.
