Answer: I am very much passionate towards working in research and development department of
an automobile company.

So I started learning the ingredients required to work in R & D department like mechanical
Softwares, Ansys , Pro-e, Catia, Autocad. And has a sound knowledge of design concepts. My
academic project also involves the same .So I definitely believe your company provide me a chance
to work in my area of interest where I can feel flexible and enthusiastic .

Why only Hyundai?

Answer: As a Mechanical engineering I had a passion of working for a reputated company in R & D
department . Till my 3rd year I didn’t have any idea about companies but, when our seniors placed
in Hyundai. I watched the profile of your company one sentence inspired me a lot ,that particularly
made me to work for Hyundai “unlimited sense of responsibility towards the customer “ which
means sensing towards customer and designing or manufacturing accordingly and the working
methodology similar to work where I have experienced in my academic project . It is a never ending
process it should be continued further. Also Santro Xing is my favourite car which is from Hyundai
.so I hope this company provide me a platform where I can enhance my skills towards the growth of
an organisation.

Tell me what do u know about Hyundai?

Answer: Hyundai was founded in 1967 by chung ju-yung. Head Quaters is at seoul south korea. It
products like Automobiles, commercial vehicles and engines served all over the world. Hyundai
launched ford Cortinas for the first time for south Koren domestic market in 1968.

Present ceo of Hyundai motor company is Bo Shin Seo .It is the largest passenger car exporter and
second largest car manufacturer in india. Presently Hyundai markets 8models of passenger cars
across segments A2 ,A3 ,A5 santro i10 i20 ,verna accent ,sonata transform.

Hyundai motor India limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (1996). HMIL
manufacturing plant in Chennai has advanced production quality and testing capabilities which has a
production capacity of 6lakh units per annum. It is the first automotive company in India to achieve
the export of 10lakh cars in just over a decade

Presently it exports cars to more than 115 countries across Africa, Middle East, Latin America and

What are your major strengths?

Answer: Hardworking and Believing in myself

I am a good team player and have the capability of handling different people , with my college
experiences and I am adaptable to any kind of environment always searching for new opportunities
in situation.

What are your weakness?

Answer: My weakness is straight forward and I will not give up till i finish my work due to this

sometimes more time may be wasted. I can’t say no to anyone

Weakness:.
1. I spend little too much time in thinking before doing a work as I want to do it more perfectly.
2. Sometimes becomes nervous too early.
3. I trust easily others and when they does cheating with me I feels very bad and thinks why I am like
this.

What do you reasonably expect to earn within five years?

"My expectation for the next five years is that my contributions will be recognized and
appropriately rewarded. I realize that salary levels are based on a number of factors, including
the company's profitability and the general business cycle that affects our industry, but I
expect to take on greater responsibility each year and to be appropriately compensated for my
efforts and contributions."

What is your biggest failure?

Unfortunately I can’t get in to that, but still managed to get a seat in one of the top college in India.

How do you spend your free time/hobbies?

Answer: listening music

Answer: I have always enjoyed playing cricket. As it provides me different experiences of handling a
pressure. If something went wrong in first power play of overs, then immediately planning according
to the situation.

For every match different opponents, As a good bowler I always very hungry towards taking wickets,
that’s the way I work too.

What would you do if I told you that I thought you were giving a very poor interview today?

Answer: "Well the first thing I'd do is ask you if there was any specific part of the interview
that you thought I might have mishandled. After that I'd think back and try to remember if
there had been any faulty communication on my part. Then I'd try to review possible
problems I had understanding your questions, and I'd ask for clarification if I needed it.
Finally, if we had time, I'd try to respond more fully and appropriately to the problem areas
you identified for me."

Tell me about your least professor ,why?

Answer: There is no such considerations for me, all the professors and faculty good at me.
Only the timely situations made me to feel some disappointment. Later on I came to know it’s a part
of punctuality.

Tell me about a situation that frustrated you at work?

Answer: when we are involved in the project i.e,design and fabrication of off road vehicle. As a
captain the things frustrated me a lot are lack of interest towards the work by some team members and
punctuality, they have to attend the work in time.

Give an example of a time when you were asked to accomplish a task but weren't given enough
information. How did you resolve this problem?

Answer: if I get that kind of situation ,firstly I will analyse the given project ,then try to get if there
are any standard inputs .
If not then I move to the familiar persons in respective field and try to get the maximum possible
information ,and keep focussing on the project till it ends up with success.

Answer: when I had great intension to do my academic project in drdo

Do u prefer continuity in structure or frequent change in your daily work?

Answer: frankly speaking no one has interest to stick to one kind of work for years together, so I need
to change my daily work activities once a year so that I can experience all kinds difficulties.
Tell me about a time you didn’t perform to your capabilities?

Answer: when I was in my engineering 1st year, I have presented a paper in osmania university
As it is the first time I have focussed totally on the report. I failed to answer their queries after the
presentation.
"The first time I had to give a presentation to our board, I failed to anticipate some of their questions. I
was unprepared for anything other than what I wanted to report. Now my director and I brainstorm all
the what-ifs in advance."

How do you manage stress in your daily work?

Answer: listening to music

How do you regroup when things haven’t gone as planned?

Answer: firstly I try to analyse the total process where it is lacking and try to get the root cause of the
problem.
By discussing with the familiar persons in the respective field so that I can collect the more
information and then plan accordingly.

How do you manage work week and make realistic deadlines?

Answer: I supposed to have my daily deadlines, so I have a chance to check my progress daily. if the
things weren’t gone accordingly for a particular day then I try analyse the causes for that problem and
solving it for the next day. so I can reach my goal definitely.

Are you over qualified for this job?

Answer: “Not at all. My experience and qualifications make me do my job only better, and in
my opinion, my good design skills help to modifying the existed components accordingly”.
