    1. Course Description:
    This course aims to introduce students to the history of the region comprising Pakistan,
    provide an overview of contending perspectives on the origins of the country, and examine
    its politics, society and culture. The course, furthermore, looks at some contemporary
    developmental issues facing the country.

    2. Course Objectives:
     Create awareness among children about Pakistan as an enlightened nation by
    comparing it with the rationale and endeavours for Pakistan’s creation.

     Educate children about the key concepts in disciplines comprising Pakistan


    Studies, including history, geography, economics, and political science

     Assist children in identifying various perspectives on current, persistent, and


    controversial issues in Pakistan; identify their own position on these issues, and
    be able to support them

     Instil in Student a sense of patriotism, tolerance, active citizenship,


    and respect for cultural diversity and religious harmony

     Design and implement a project to promote active and responsible citizenship
