SCANNING PROTOCOL:
Plain CT scan of Brain was carried out; images were obtained in multiple planes and viewed at
appropriate window settings.
REPORT:
The cerebrum and cerebellum are normal with no evidence of infarction, hemorrhage or space
occupying lesion.
Ventricles are symmetrical and not dilated. Extra axial CSF spaces appear unremarkable.
No midline shift or mass effect.
The basal ganglia, thalami and the pituitary appear normal.
No fracture or bony abnormality seen in the cranial bones.
The posterior fossa appears unremarkable.
The soft tissues of scalp are normal.
CONCLUSION:
Normal plain CT study of Brain. No evidence of acute territorial infarction, hemorrhage or space
occupying lesion.
