25 PRE-TASK T-Ss minutes -Ss read the four events and asks “What are the events?” Ss-T -Ss skim and answer the questions in pairs. Then T elicits answers. S-S -Ss read the conversations and answer comprehension questions: When’s Alec’s birthday? What day is the party? What time? When is the dance? Where is Casey’s restaurant? What time is the movie tonight? What movie is it? Who is in the movie? What time is the movie? What time is the meeting? What time is it now? Are the man and woman late? TASK -T shows a chart and plays the audio. Ss listen to the conversations and complete the chart. -Ss compare their answers and report them. -Ss correct the Integrated practice sentences. Compare and report. 10 POSTASK T-Ss minutes -T shows the symbols for the horoscope and elicits their names. Ss-T -Ss complete the chart with their classmates’ information. S-S -Ss report their partner’s information.
