Neona the Fairy - free amigurumi crochet doll pattern.

Stitch abbreviations
Sc: single crochet

Materials
Worsted weight yarn – Approximately 100 yards skin tone, 80 yards green, 70 yards purple,
70 yards light blue, scrap amount of pink. (I used Hobby Lobby I love this cotton in the colors
Warm Blush, Bright Citrus, Amtheyst, Pale Denim & Rosey II.
Suggested hook size: 3.25mm (D).
2 x 11mm safety eyes (any color), or size of your choosing.
Fiberfill stuffing
Yarn needle
Black & pink embroidery floss
Blush
14g floral wire (optional)

Ch: chain
(): repeat same stitches
[]: stitches in same stitch
MR: magic ring
FO: fasten off

Special Stitches Used – 4 dc bobble stitch (BOB4)


Step 1: Yarn over, insert hook into st, yarn over again & pull up loop, yarn over, draw back
through 2 loops. (2 loops)
Step 2: Yarn over, insert hook into same st, yarn over again & pull up loop, yarn over, draw
through 2 loops (3 loops)
Step 3: Yarn over, insert hook into same st, yarn over again & pull up loop, yarn over, draw
through 2 loops (4 loops)
Step 4: Yarn over, insert hook into same st, yarn over again & pull up loop, yarn over, draw
through 2 loops (5 loops)
Step 5: Yarn over, draw yarn through all 5 loops on hook.

Size: 11” tall when made with the suggested yarn and hook size
Pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless noted otherwise.

Arms
Make 2 – in skin tone
R1: Sc x 5 in MR (5)
R2: Sc inc x 5 (10)
R3: Sc x 10 (10)
R4: Sc x 5, BOB4 (see special stitches), sc x 4 (10)
R5: (Sc dec x 1, sc x 3) x 2 (8)
R6-21: Sc x 8 (8)
Insert wire if you are using it, then stuff around the wire.
FO & set aside for crocheting into the body.

Hair cap
Make 1 – in purple.

Make 1 – in pink.

FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Wrap the yarn tail tightly around the center of the bow 3-4
times. Sew to the bun. Weave in end.

Top wing
Make 2 – in light blue.
R1: In MR, sc x 6 (6)
R2: Sc inc x 6 (12)
R3: (Sc x 1, sc inc) x 6 (18)

wings, so that the right side of R10 is facing forward when sewn on to the body.

WING ASSEMBLY:
Sew bottom part of wing to top part of wing, with the bottom in front – see photo for
assembly positioning. Once assembled sew to the back of your doll as shown.
