This document describes the results of a drilling program that sampled different rock units and styles of alteration and mineralization. It analyzed the samples to determine average work indices. The main rock units sampled were andesite and latite porphyry dikes. The andesite displayed varying degrees of oxidation, propylitization, argillization and silicification. The latite dike samples showed a range from weakly oxidized to sulfide-bearing styles of alteration and mineralization controlled by fracturing and veining. Percentages of each rock unit in the overall mineralization are estimated.

PQ drilling program METSO SAMPLES GEOLOGY
Andesite Oxide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 3.78
PQ4 (64m66.7m) Fine to medium grained intermediate andesite porphyry – feldspar and mafic phenocrysts altered to clay and FeOx Strongly oxidized overall but oxidation more entense along fractures – generally highly fractured with near surface zones becoming punky – mineralization will be found as fracture controlled silica/FeOx veinlets ( Aprox. 15% of total andesite package is this unit)
Andesite mixed Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 4.48
PQ4 (56.2m59.3m) Fine to medium grained andesite porphyry with feldspar and mafic phenocrysts – alteration of phenos can vary from fresh to total – country rock will display weak regional propylitic alteration and be magnetic where alteration is weak – mineralization will occur in zones of permeability along fractures and faults and will extend well out into the country rock – hairline silica veinlets will be found throughout these zones oxidation is fracture controlled and as such can extend relatively deep in the deposit – ( Aprox. 40% of the total andesite package will be this unit)
Andesite propylitic Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 7.43
PQ4 (96.6m99m) Hydrothermal propylitic alteration of a medium grained intermediate andesite porphyry – strong epidote as clots, open space fillings and fracture controlled veinlets – mafics altered to chlorite and epidote – minor calcite veinlets – weak to moderate silicification is noted in strongly mineralized zones Abundant sulfides noted throughout – rock is normally moderately hard ( Aprox. 20% of the total andesite mineralization package is this unit)
Andesite Sulfide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 7.55
PQ4 (108.6m111.2m) Fine to medium grained andesite porphyry with varying degrees of argillization , propylitazation and to a lesser degree silicification– phenos altered to clays and epidote/chlorite – rock can be soft to moderately hard depending which style of alteration is dominant – mineralization can occur throughout (Aprox. 25% of the total andesite mineralization package is this unit) Latite Dike bx Mixed oxide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 7.12 PQ1 (23.4m26.4m) Latite porphyry dike – highly fractured / brecciated with silica/feOx fracture fill – alteration consists silicification as pervasive and veinlets – multiphase brecciation and silicification – breccia is monolithic with silica/FeOx matrix can be hard where silicification is pervasive but due to high degree of fracturing generally breaks easily – oxidation is fracture controlled mineralization will be found in breccia matrix, silica veinlets and zones of pervasive silicification (Aprox. 15% of the total latite dike mineralization is this unit)
Latite dike Bx mixed Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 5.41
PQ5 (55.3m57.9m) Latite porphyry dike – zones of strong fracturing with silica veinlets and fracture fill local pervasive silicification in fracture zones fracture controlled oxidation unoxidized and unsilicified zones away from the fractures – mineralization will be found in breccia matrix, silica veinlets and zones of pervasive silicification – (Aprox. 40% of the total latite dike mineralization is this unit)
Latite dike weakly Oxide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 5.69
PQ3 (17.3m19.9m) Latite porphyry dike – weak to moderate silica veinlets – local weak silicification associated with veinlets – feldspar phenos altered to clay – trace to weak calcite, chlorite and epidote on fractures roughly half of the fractures are oxidized – mineralization will be found in silica veinlets and along fractures (Aprox 25% of the total latite dike mineralization is this unit)
Latite dike Mixed Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 4.75
PQ3 (22.6m25.6m) Latite porphyry dike – trace to weak silica veinlets – feldspar phenos altered to clay –– oxidation on all fractures– trace silica on fractures – mineralization introduced along fractures (Aprox 15% of the total latite dike mineralization is this unit)
Latite Oxide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 6.48
PQ4 (15.2m17.9m) Latite breccia – phreatic – jig saw fragments with quarts/feOx matrix – zones of pervasive silicification associated with silica veinlets – highly fractured – strongly oxidized – mineralization will be found in breccia matrix, silica veinlets and zones of pervasive silicification (< 5% of total latite mineralization )
Latite Sulfide Av. work index Kwhr/tonne 15.37
PQ2 (74.4m77m) Latite dike Sulfide – porphyry texture w/ feldspar phenos moderately fractured and healed with silica – trace calcite, epidote and quartz on fractures – siliceous ground mass mineralization will be found in silica veinlets can be very hard depending on silicification This sample was not recommended for Metso program as it was not representative of latite Sulfide mineralization – the PQ drilling program was unable to reach the depths required for a representative latite sulfide sample – this type of material occurs near narrow feeders and would comprise (aprox.1% of overall latite mineralization) (latite sulfide mineralization occurs in structural zones similar to those seen in the oxide zones – material will display argillic and propylitic aleration – will be fractured – have numerous silica veinlets but not have pervasive silicification over wide areas, 1/2 meter to 1 meter widths)
