I- Public Holidays

It 's hereby notified that the following will be the Holidays during the year 2019 for the students,
teachers, vacation and non-vacation employees of the University except in the University
Experimental School for which separate holidays are prescribed by the Institution. The holidays to
be observed by the University Health Center will be adjusted as determined by the Syndicate:

festival occasions mentioned above at their option irrespective of their

religious denomination. Permission for availing of these optional holidays t
should, however be applied for in advance, and will normally be granted by
the officer competent to grant casual leave with due regard to exigencies of
the University work. This leave of two days taken by the University
employees at their option on the Festival of their choice will not be debited
to their casual leave account.

Note- (3) If any of the Muslim Festivals notified above, does not fall on the day notified,
the Muslim employees of the University who choose the particular holiday
