The Second Edition of FLAVOURS & FRAGRANCES EXPO 2018– India's


International B2B Flavours & Fragrances Exhibition was inaugurated by a
distinguished panel, which included Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe (Founder,
President of SME Chamber of India), Dr. A. P. Jayaraman (Sr. Nuclear Scientist),
Mr. Ramakant Harlalka (Managing Director, Nishant Aromas), Mr. Jayant Roy
80+ (CEO & Principal Consultant, JRMC Global), Dr. Luke Grocholl (Regulatory
Exhibitors Management– Sigma-Aldrich Corpn., USA), Dr. Jyoti Marwah (Aromatherapist &
Former ICLES M. J. College).
The Exhibition was supported by many renowned Trade Associations & Govt.

ideate during this two day event which provided a global industry platform for the
buyers and sellers to build network and do potential business.
Over the last few years, Fragrance and Flavour industry in India has ourished
and the market has been dominated by the global manufacturers. The Indian F&F
market as per estimates is about US$ 400 million similar to the international
market. There is almost equal distribution of the total Indian F&F market between
Fragrances & Flavours. The expanding product lines in the Indian Fragrance
6500+ market are due to the signicant technology advancements and growing
Gross Area importance towards personal grooming and appearance, coupled with increasing
consumer spending on beauty and wellness products. This has mainly contributed
to the growth of the market. The avour market in India has been segmented on
the basis of types of applications which comprises of beverages, confectionery,
dairy, pharmaceuticals, tobacco and others.

Foundation conducted a special workshop on Gulkand
making at Flavours & Fragrances Expo 2018. They not
only demon-strated the process of Gulkand making
but also shared knowledgeable information
highlighting the medical and therapeutic properties,
other health benets of consuming Gulkand and food
delight.

Flavours & Fragrances Expo 2019 is pleased to


announce the Flavours & Fragrances Academic Tour
2019 which will take place from 13 to 20 April, 2019.
The Tour is designed to offer extensive networking and
educational opportunities. Participants of the F&F
Academic Tour will not only get the privilege of being
part of Flavours & Fragrances Expo 2019 and the
power packed Interact Conference 2019 but, will also
be privileged to visit various cultivation farms which
include Mango farm, Cashew farm, Sandalwood farm, Citriodora Agarwood
Agarwood farm and various Green plantation
aromatic sites amongst the fascinating land of
Konkan. In addition, on schedule are visits to
distillation and extraction process plants at and
around Dapoli– a town in Ratnagiri district of
Maharastra state.
