Introduction
The RMD Kwikform Trench Box Systems have been developed to provide a market leading
strength to weight ratio. The lightweight Backhoe Trench Box has been designed specifically to
cater for small to medium sized excavators which have limited lift capabilities. The Standard
Trench Box range are intended for use with excavators over 16t.

Design to EN Standards
The RMD Kwikform Trench Box System has been designed in accordance with EN13331.
To facilitate a simplified scheme design using established permissible load methods, load
performance data in this document is displayed as an ‘Allowable Working Load’. Should Limit State
Design be required, the Design Resistance may be obtained by multiplying the Allowable Working
Load by 1.5.
