11. Precautions
14. Installation
18. Troubleshooting
12. Do not install an outdoor unit on the apartment outside wall(or equivalent) for safety.
● Installing an outdoor unit on the apartment outside wall(or equivalent) is prohibited for the safety purpose. Service will not
be available for the outdoor unit where our servicemen can not access and the cost of moving the outdoor unit to the
service area will be borne by the customer.
● If requested by the customer, you shall discourage him to install an outdoor unit on the apartment outside wall(or
equivalent).
19. Be sure to put the indoor or outdoor unit free of corrosive gases such as sulfuric water,
ammonium, and sulfuric gas.
● Otherwise, copper tubes or soldered parts could be corroded causing refrigerant leak.

● SW02 main switch is a basic address for the communication between indoor unit and outdoor unit.
The products operate normally when this address is set.
● Address setup is available from 0 to F. Set from 0 to the last installation number to another address.
Indoor units connected with the same outdoor unit should have another address.
SW02 MAIN ● Before the installation of indoor unit, mark the address of indoor unit onto the drawing for address setup.
● SW01RMC switch is an address setup switch to control the indoor unit operation by the wired remote control
and centralized controller.
● If the wired remote control and centralized controller is used, SW03 K1, K2 switch setup should be needed.
● SW01 RMC switch setup is not needed for the outdoor unit which dose not use the wired remote control and

■ Check method
■ The above error code is not the products error, but specification to protect the products by restricting the use
temperature ranges. Use it by reference to the temperature range of use condition in manual.
If the above error code is occurred despite of condition being not included above judge method, read the value
of outdoor inlet air temperature by use of view mode or S-net. And then if it is different with the actual outdoor
temperature, replace the temperature sensor.

8-2-68. The low pressure detection error at the initial of compressor start
Outdoor unit display
■ Check method
■ 1. Measure he pressure at the state of system stopping with manifold gauge.
■ 2. Check the value of low pressure sensor with view mode or S-net.
■ 3. If the value of 1 and 2 are similar, most of refrigerant must be leaked. Discharge the rest refrigerant,
and vacuum and charge again.
■ 4. If the difference between value 1 and 2 is large, it must be a connection defect of connecter or sensor
defect. Check and replace it.
- 236 -
■ Check method
■ This is not the error, so normal heating operation is performed after defrost.
■ Check method
■ If the capacity of indoor unit is low at the below 0˚C of outdoor temperature in cooling, this is specification to control
compressor ON/OFF. It is not an error and possible to operate normally.
■ Check method
■ This is a special operation mode to obtain oil level between the compressors on the system used many compressors,

■ Precautions
■ 1. The replacement of PWM valve due to the loading failure is the difficult work to abolish the refrigerant in the system and
recharging it, and there is little possibility to appear actually.
So, check the above check items carefully.
■ 2. The restart after OLP trip is possible only when the inside temperature of compressor is down lower than 60˚C, and
therefore it takes about 2-3 hours.
■ 3. If waiting at the state that the power is on during the temperature failing down.
CCH(Crank case heater) operates to delay the time to restart. Accordingly, separate the connecter to the CCH to block
the power and reconnect the connecter after the completion of final check.
- 239 -

in 7 hours interval.
It returns to the normal operation after oil collection operation for 3 minutes automatically.
