    Waste management or Waste disposal is all the activities and actions required to manage

    waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes amongst other things, collection,
    transport, treatment and disposal of waste together with monitoring and regulation. It also
    encompasses the legal and regulatory framework that relates to waste management encompassing
    guidance on recycling etc. The term “waste” covers both solid wastes (refuse, or garbage) and
    sewage (wastewater).

    Waste can be solid, liquid, or gaseous and each type has different methods of disposal and
    management. Waste management deals with all types of waste, including industrial, biological,
    and household. In some cases, waste can pose a threat to human health. Waste is produced by
    human activity, for example the extraction and processing of raw materials. Waste management is
    intended to reduce adverse effects of waste on human health, the environment or aesthetics.

    Waste management practices are not uniform among countries (developed and developing
    nations); regions (urban and rural areas), and residential and industrial sectors can all take
    different approaches. A large portion of waste management practices deal with municipal solid
    waste (MSW) which is the bulk of the waste that is created by household, industrial, and
    commercial activity.

    Waste management is the process of treating solid wastes and offers variety of solutions
    for recycling items that don’t belong to trash. It is about how garbage can be used as a valuable
    resource. Waste management is something that each and every household and business owner in
    the world needs. Waste management disposes of the products and substances that you have use in
    a safe and efficient manner

    The most important reason for proper waste management is to protect the environment and
    for the health and safety of the population. Certain types of waste can be hazardous and can pollute
    the environment. Bad waste management practices can also cause land and air pollution which can
    result in serious medical conditions in humans and animals.

    Implementing good waste management practices not only helps to protect the environment
    but can be beneficial to your business. Waste management is about being more efficient with raw
    materials and making the most of each stage of the production process.
