AMUR TIGER TRAIN

Treatment for HP INC

by Reutov Ivan
Overview

We suggest you take a tour across the train through

the eyes of the beast. Imagine the camera moving
along the composition like a tiger: bottom
foreshortening, prowling movements (deft),
fast traveling. Deflect one interior object to another.
We suppose wide format, short focus optics, light
blur to the edges of the frame, somewhat distorted
colors. Our “beast-camera” can stop at some
especially remarkable objects of the train
illustrations, "sniff" them, "meet heroes of story ".
Perhaps the most important in our concept is
camera interaction with people. Along the route of
the camera meets heroes of history. These people
not afraid of the beast, on the contrary, they lean to
him carefully and respectfully interact (say replicas
or just declare). Finishing the path of the train, the
beast accepts him, gets comfortable and closes its
eyes. We are going to integrate the interview in the
video using parallel editing.
Idea

We want to convey in the video the interaction of

the wild beast, on the one hand, and the
technological progress of man, on the other. It is
important that these two worlds should coexist in
peace and harmony. The acceptance and final
peace of the beast, at the end, convey the idea of
harmony. In this context, we are not hunters or
conquerors. We care. We are good friends
Sound

Shooting involves sharp dashes and

dynamic movement in a train car,
but at the same time dexterous and
smooth. So we suggest following
sound range:

1) Background music with an

abundance of drums,
torn, alternating rhythmic patterns.
2) The soft sounds of the steps of the
beast, breathing, reactions to objects
of the image (on the cub, on the
person
with weapon)
References

Here are some examples of reference videos that inspired us and which can be used
in our project to understand mood, emotional background and shooting techniques.

Here we can see a good dynamic editing and good example of emotions that we are
trying to reach in the clip.

Here we do not see the world through the eyes of the beast, but it is close enough in
visual mood.

Cats do not see as people. They have unique vision. We want to use some of this
information, taking off on anamorphic lenses.
Production
Location Shooting

We plan to shoot everything during Shoot everything in 4k 3840×2160

one day in the Amur train. We need resolution, 25 fps. Though we can
to understand the number of light export whatever resolution you
sources in the train, perhaps it will need.
help reduce the budget.

Post-Production Crew

Post production will take no more ● Storytelling - Ivan Merkutov

than 5 days, not including edits. If ● Cameraman 1 - Ivan Reutov
you need to create graphics or ● Cameraman 2 - Vasily Lyaporov
motion design there may be ● Sound record
amendments. The main work on ● Editor
post-production will be to work
with the "picture" to create the
illusion of the view from the eyes of
an animal. Some color aberrations
and blurring. Cuts should be
dynamic and rough.
