1. INTRODUCTION
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), here-in after called as 'Company', is currently involved
with the exploration in several deep-sea fields off the east coast of India. As a part of the overall
development plan, ONGC intends to develop the Vashishta and S1 fields.
The Vashishta field shall comprise two wells (VA-DA and VA-DB) and is located in water depths of 500
to 700 meters. The S1 field shall comprise two wells (S1-A and S-AC) and is located in water depths of
approximately 250 to 420 meters.
ONGC have decided to tie back S2-AB to the existing G1 subsea facilities. Accordingly, S2-AB and all
associated equipment items are not part of this Contract.
The in-line tees located on the pipeline at the S2-AB location will be retained for future tie-ins.
ONGC proposes to produce Vashishta and S1 fields concurrently through in-field flow lines using daisy
chain architecture.
The onshore processing terminal at Odalarevu is located about 90 km to the South- East of
Rajahmundry. This onshore processing terminal at Odalarevu receives hydrocarbons from the GS-15
field and processing facilities are under construction to receive and process hydrocarbons from the G-1
and GS-15 fields located in the KG basin. The processing facility for gas from Vashishta and S-1 fields
will be set up adjacent to the existing terminal.
