Why is this form of animation effective? What's not so effective?

LOTTE REINIGER
It is effective because there are not many movements in the animation except
the main characters. Because there are not sound, people are forced to make
their own voices in heads so how the story goes through. For the nowadays the
animation is not very effective due to the laziness of the people that would not
waste time of no narration animations. The animation has no special effect nor
any effect so far, nowadays kids would be bored because of lack of them.

New developments in Media and Art are often not themselves brand new but
instead learn and build upon work of the past.

As Lotte Reinigger was one of the first feature length animators do you think
