My favourite dish is Layered Potatoes.
Ingredients (for four)
Preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes and boil them until fork tender.
2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
3. Hard boil the eggs in salty water.
4. Peel the eggs and slice them using an egg-slicer.
5. Slice the smoked sausages.
6. Pre-heat the oven to 200ºC.
7. Butter a casserole dish.
8. Spread breadcrumbs all around the inside of the dish.
9. Lay the sliced bacon.
10. Put a layer of potatoes on the bacon and sprinkle a little salt over it.
11. Add a layer of eggs, then a layer of smoked sausages and a layer of sour cream.
12. Repeat these until all the ingredients are finished. Sour cream should be the top layer.
13. Cover the top with breadcrumbs and dot it with butter.
14. Put the casserole into the preheated oven.
15. Let it bake for about 30 to 40 minutes until the breadcrumbs brown.
You can treat your friends with this dish next time and they will beg you for the recipe!
