    Subject: DAILY WAGES STAFF FOR STRIP SURVEY FOR SUBSTITUTION

    OF RABI CANAL COMMAND AREA - KACHHI CANAL PROJECT.


    1 The preparation of Detailed Engineering Design of Kachhi Canal Project is in progress Under
    Vision –2025 Programme. The scope of work regarding Strip survey of Rabi canal command
    area, Traverse survey, precise level survey, Tertiary level survey, X-Sectional survey and Strip
    survey. The consultants have desired, vide their letter No.KCC/ND/20.05/3177, dated 28-02-
    2007 (F/A), In this connection an estimate to Rs. 7,15,500/= (Rupees Seven Lac Fifteen
    Thousand and Five Hundred only.) has been Sanctioned letter No. SE/PD(P&I) Works/36-
    W/496 dated.13.03.2007 administratively & Technically Sanction by Executive Engineer,
    Investigation Division(P&I)WAPDA, Faisalabad. No. Invest. 1 / P&I / FSD / 117 – W / 2110 -12
    dated 16.03.2007 to cover the probable expenditure to be incurred on the subject survey work.
    This survey work is to be carried out in a period of 1 month. Investigation work as per labour
    rates for District Naseerabad by (DCO), (F/B).

    2 As per agreement with consultant the survey & investigation for the Project has to be carried out
    by WAPDA. The Investigation Division, Faisalabad has been assigned the subject work as per
    requirement of the consultant.
    3 Due to limited field staff for survey work, daily wages staff is hired temporarily as per field
    requirement from the local area. The provision of daily wages staff is available in the estimate of
    the subject work (F/C) and approved in PC-II Proforma.
    4 To initiate the survey of above subject work, the following daily wages staff is required to be
    hired immediately:

    5 It is therefore requested to arrange approval of Member Water, WAPDA for hiring of above
    mentioned daily wages staff for subject work please.
