Summary

This is a new course.

Unified Curriculum

This training content for the course: Designing parts in NX has been released and is now available
for download and use. This training content has been developed in a new format called “Unified
Curriculum” that is designed to be more engaging for learners.
Currently the best practices for instructor-led delivery of the Unified Curriculum is still under
development and an Instructor Enablement Program is also being planned.

Background: Unified Curriculum

Unified Curriculum is a design strategy that transforms and reimagines learning content for both
self-paced and instructor-led training. This provides for greater flexibility in delivery as well as
blended training opportunities.
The new content focuses on tasks, processes, and scenarios in the context of the learner’s job. This
supports how people learn by improving how new information is processed, organized and applied.
Content is also presented as visuals, videos, and audio for a more engaging experience.
This creates a more positive learning experience as well as creates better learning outcomes for
customers.

Learn About Using Unified Curriculum

A self-paced course has been created to help provide information on what the Unified Curriculum is
and why the change in design is being made. The course also offers ways that the new multi-media
based content can be used in the classroom. You can find the course here .
In addition, best practices for instructor-led delivery of the Unified Curriculum is still under development
and an Instructor Enablement Program is also being planned. Brent.Binion@Siemens.com
