I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
identify the relationship between the number of images formed and the angle
between the two mirrors.
compute the number of image formed in two mirrors
Perform the activity titled: Who wants to be a Millionaire? Make sure to handle the
mirror with care because some mirrors have sharp edges. Answer table 4 (Number of Images
Formed) and the following questions:
1. What happens to the number of images formed as you vary the angle between the
mirrors?
2. Refer to Table 4. What relationship exists between the number of images formed and the
angle between two mirrors?
3. How should the mirrors be arranged such that an infinite number of images will be
formed or seen?
VIII. Generalization
What will happen to the image if two mirrors decrease their
distance with each other?
What will happen to the image if two mirrors increase their
distance with each other?
What is the formula for the number of image formed?
IX. Application
What is the application of reflection of light in mirrors as in hallways, parlors, etc?
