CHAPTER I
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
This chapter presents the introduction and background of the study, statement
of the problem, significance of the study, conceptual framework, scope and
delimitation of the study, significance of the study, null hypothesis and definition of
terms.
Introduction
CCTV relies on strategic placement of cameras, and observation of the
cameras communicate with monitors and video recorders across private coaxial
cable runs or wireless communication links, they gain the designation close circuit to
indicate that access to their content is limited by design only to those able to see it.
Older CCTV system used small , low –resolution black and white monitors with
no interactive capabilities. Modern CCTV displays can be color ,high – resolution
displays and can include the ability to zoom in a image or track something among

camera’s associated speakers.
Security is fundamentally important across all walks of life to ensure the overall
safety and possessions of all individuals are comprehensively protected. Commercial

with adequate protection against adverse weather conditions. Both buildings
are also fit for purpose and provide the flexibility in which to create a stately
household and professional business environment. This can be achieved via the
integration of interior design features such as furniture and décor, in addition to any
portable appliances and machinery to carry out daily tasks.
Throughout commercial properties such as office buildings and retail outlets, all
companies require careful consideration of integrated security solutions. Although
security guards provide an element of protection on the ground floor, their eyes are
ears are not extensive enough to provide an over watch of the entire premises. This
is where cameras within CCTV security systems play a crucial role within the daily
running of a business.
Background of the Study
This study is all about the benefits of having CCTV camera in Area of batasan
hills quezon city calendar year 2019-2020 .the main purpose of this study is to show
the importance of having CCTV and to show how use it is in our society ,this study
also give information about how CCTV works and what benefits it gives to our
society. This will be conducted at batasan hills quezon city academic year 2019-2020

Statement of the Problem
This study aims to know the benefits of having CCTV camera in Area of
batsan hills Quezon city calendar year 2019-2020.
Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following questions:
1.what are the benefits of having cctv?
2.how CCTV become valuable in our society ?
3.In what way CCTV helps the society?
4.does CCTV have dis advantage?
Hypothesis
Ho: There is no significant difference between…..
Conceptual Framework
The researchers used input-process-output (IPO) method to distinguish and
connect the information in the study. The researchers used the method to organize
the ideas in accordance to the study.

Scope and Delimitation of the Study
This study is primarily focused on the benefits of having CCTV in Area of batasan
hills ,researcher will conduct survey to the brgy. Official of batsan hills quezon city
Due to the limited time, the researchers could not be made more detailed.
Meanwhile, the research has a limited source of literature and studies due to lack of
updated books or related studies available in the library of Eclaro Academy,
Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
Significance of the Study
This study will provide insights regarding the benefits of having CCTV

Future Researchers. This study will give information or idea about the benefits of
having cctv ,and importance of security in our daily life
Researchers. The study will help researcher to improve their knowledge and skills
and also their experience in being researcher.
Definition of Terms
The following terms are defined based on researcher’s usage in the study:
Coaxial cable- or coax is a type of electrical cable that has an inner conductor
surrounded by a tubular insulating layer, surrounded by a tubular conducting
shield.
Wireless communication - is the transfer of information or power between two or more
points that are not connected by an electrical conductor. The most common wireless
technologies use radio waves. With radio waves distances can be short, such as a

The CCD converts light into an electrical signal and then signal processing converts
this electrical signal into a video signal that can be recorded or displayed on screen.
Portable appliance testing- (commonly known as "PAT", "PAT inspection" or
(redundantly) as "PAT testing") is the name of a process in the United Kingdom[1], the
Republic of Ireland, New Zealand and Australia by which electrical appliances are
routinely checked for safety.
