WHAT IS 100 ka FUNDA?
100 ka Funda is a realistic exercise to introduce entrepreneurship skills among students. This exercise ensures that the young generation has the skills required to capitalize on today's opportunities. The game has been adapted for students with simulated currency. The teams get Rs 100 as an initial investment. The teams are expected to start a virtual company and come up with a product or service with the initial investment that they can sell and make a profit on.
HOW IT WORKS? 1. Each team consists of 2 members. 2. Each team would be given Rs. 100 as an initial investment in the form of simulated currency. 3. Teams can have to create a prototype of their product or service. 4. The team shall present a plan discussing how long will it take the company to reach revenue of ₹1000. 5. The team that accomplishes the goal in the least duration of time shall be the winner. 6. Any team indulging in malpractice of exaggerating facts and figures will be disqualified from the event.
SCHEDULE:
1:50 PM – 2:50 PM Session I: Presentation on Prototype & Product Development Process: Session Highlights: • Each team shall bring a laptop and will be given 5 minutes for the presentation. • Team of two students shall present a prototype for their product or service in the form of a PowerPoint Presentation or present a prop of the actual product. • Then they shall explain the product’s development process while stating their factor cost and variable cost of their production. • The evaluation in this round will be done on the basis of communication skills; content of the presentation; presentation style; and body language.
2:50 PM – 3:50 PM Session 2: Revenue Report: Session Highlights: • Each team shall design a brief presentation about the sales generated and the net profit earned while stating the time taken by them to accomplish the target of Rs.1000 in revenue.
