 INTRODUCTION

People around the world rely on different types of computers for a variety of applications.
According to AIGA, “graphic design, also known as communication design, is the art and practice
of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. The form it takes
can be physical or virtual and can include images, words, or graphics.”

Computer graphic design combines skills in technology, business and art, using computer-
generated images and words to create unique concepts and messages for publishing and
advertising. Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to
communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout
and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines,
and corporate reports.

In Industries, a graphic designer needs to have a best computer, specific tools and hardware that
can support and handle their task. The best computer will focus on many aspects such
as processor speed, memory storage, screen resolution and also hard disk speed. This is because
of most design software is loaded with features that hardly have a process heavy than other
application software. Some of this best computer are highly price due to high of specifications but
some of the best computer also have an affordable price.

TYPE OF COMPUTER AND THE SPECIFICATIONS

Best recommendation for the best computer is Apple iMac. Apple iMac have 21.5 inch (diagonal)
with Retina 4k display, 4096 x 2304 resolution with support for 1 billion colors; 500 nits brightness
and wide color (P3). So with this advanced display, user such as graphic designer can see more
clearly sharp angle and comfortable to their eyes plus the pixel density is so high that it won’t
detect a single one.

This Apple iMac came with a powerful processor about 3.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo
Boost up to 3.5GHz or 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz, 8GB RAM
and 1TB. Graphic Designer uses many editing software with a special features and rendering the
finalize project would take much time. With this powerful processor, editing and rendering the
project should be no problem or any lagging issues at Apple iMac. Also, the operating system is
macOS Sierra. As we know the macOS have more securely online and work more seamlessly
between devices.

Computer graphic design is a major resource for our society. Basically like media social,
advertising, poster and many more have this element. Graphic design makes people more
creative, innovative and think out of box to develop new things with their own ideas. The
multimedia has been shown to be a huge network and also opportunities in career job. With this
opportunities, all people must at least learn about multimedia like graphic design for making more
interactive and creative work or project in future or be a Graphic designer.
