"going to"

El "going to" se utiliza para hablar sobre intenciones en el futuro. Es solamente una de
las posibles estructuras que hay en inglés para hablar en futuro.

"Going to"
The "going to" is used to talk about intentions in the future. It is only one of the
possible structures that exist in English speaking future.

PASADO CON “GOING TO”

FORMACION

Se forma con el verbo 'to be' en pasado, seguido de 'going to' y luego el verbo
principal.
FORMATION

It is formed with the verb 'to be' in the past, followed by ' going to' and then the main
verb.
AFIRMATIVA: Para formar la afirmativa ponemos la forma correspondiente del verbo
'to be' acompañado de 'going to' y un verbo.
AFFIRMATIVE: To form the affirmative put the corresponding form of the verb 'to be'
accompanied by ' going to' and a verb.
SUJETO + WAS/WERE + GOING TO + VERBO + RESTO DE FRASE.

Ellas iban a bailar en una fiesta.


They were going to dance in a party.

NEGATIVA: Para formar la negativa negamos el verbo 'to be''.

NEGATIVE: To form the negative deny the verb 'to be' ‘.


SUJETO + WASN'T/WEREN'T + GOING TO + VERBO + RESTO DE FRASE.

Ellas no iban a bailar en una fiesta.


They weren't going to dance in a party.

INTERROGATIVA: Para formar la interrogativa tenemos que invertir el verbo 'to be' y el
sujeto.

INTERROGATIVE: To form the interrogative we must invest the verb 'to be' and the
subject.
WAS/WERE + SUJETO + GOING TO + VERBO + RESTO DE FRASE?

¿Iban ellas a bailar en una fiesta?


Were they going to dance in a party?

FUTURO CON “GOING TO”

FORMATION

When we use “going to” in a prayer to refer to the future, the construction consists of three
elements: the verb “to be " brought together in conformity with the subject + "going" + the
infinitive of the principal verb.

FORMACIÓN

Cuando empleamos "going to" en una oración para referirnos al futuro, la construcción se
compone de tres elementos: el verbo "to be" conjugado conforme al sujeto + "going" + el
infinitivo del verbo principal.

Sujeto + to be (conjugado) + going + infinitivo

She Is going to leave.

I Am going to stay.

Afirmativa

He Is going to jog.

Negativa

He is not going to jog.

Interrogativa

Is He going to jog?
Sujeto + to be (conjugado) + going + infinitivo

Ella va a marcharse. Voy a quedarme.

Afirmativa

Él va a correr

Negativa

Él no va a correr

Interrogativa

¿Se va a correr?

PRESENTE CON” GOING TO”

Uso del presente simple


* Se utiliza el presente simple para hablar de actividades que se realizan regularmente
y para hablar de rutinas (diarias, semanales, anuales, etc.).
NO SE UTILIZA para hablar de actividades que está sucediendo en el momento de
hablar.
* Con he, she, it (la tercera persona singular) en afirmativo, se añade –s o –es al
verbo, según las reglas siguientes.

Using the simple present tense


* Use the present simple to talk about activities that are regularly performed and talk
about routines (daily, weekly, yearly, etc.).
NOT USED to discuss activities that is happening in the de hablar time.
* With he, she, it (the third person singular) in the affirmative, -s or - is added to the
verb, according to the following rules.
