DISCUSSION

1. The Importance of An pariwisata

In the life of modern society, recreation is a human need that cannot be

eliminated anymore. This is closely related to daily life which ultimately requires a
counterweight in the form of leisure and refreshing. The need for relaxation and
refreshing needs to get answers in the form of a business of recreation and
entertainment. In this case the tourism sector is of interest.
From the other side, the development sector is supported by other sectors, both
directly and indirectly. The development of the coastal area, for example, will
encourage the development of the transportation sector both in the form of road
improvements and public transportation routes. The improvement of roads and
public transportation facilities in the surrounding areas is free from isolation,
which in turn is brought to life dynamics of its inhabitants. In addition, the
development of the tourism sector, for the surrounding community to improve the
economy through the restaurant or lodging business.

On a larger scale, world welfare has an influence on people from all over the
world to get to know the cultures of other countries. One way to do this is to take
a tour. This curiosity generates economic benefits in the form of foreign
exchange entry into the state finances. In the end, the tourism business provides
a sizable profit from layered for the nation and society.
Seeing a number of indicators above, the development of the tourism sector
seems to be something important and needs special attention from various
parties. Because if this sector does not receive special attention, the chain of
income search starting from the pedicab drivers, tour guides, tour operators, until
the country's finances will be affected. Conversely, if the sector is of special
interest and in the end the sector will advance, many parties will benefit.

1. education about tourism development

The main problem that we need to find a way out of is how we are able to
develop tourism with a cultural environment. In this case there are a number of
things that could be considered as alternatives to the development of tourism
with an insight into the cultural environment.

firstly the physical development carried out by the government and surrounding
communities regarding accessibility and services to the destination

Second, revive traditional cultural tourism. The traditional tourism meant here is
the presentation of various forms of traditional culture to the tourists. The forms
of traditional culture intended include jathilan, heirloom heirloom, sekaten,
dolanan boy, and traditional ceremonies. These forms of culture actually have a
high appeal but because they are rarely shown routinely, tourists sometimes
have difficulty watching it.
Third, provide cultural education to the younger generation. The source of
cultural decline actually stems from people's ignorance of the importance of
preserving culture for the survival of the tourism sector. As a result of this
ignorance, many young people actually follow a foreign culture rather than
maintaining their own culture. So, when they are dealing with tourists, what is put
forward is the attitudes and behaviors that imitate them, such as speaking in a
foreign language, dressing in a foreign style, and even behaving that is not in
accordance with their own culture.

Fourth, respect for ancestral heritage. The legacy of our ancestors in the form of
tosan aji, gebyog, traditional furniture, and other antiques seems to deteriorate
along with the rise of the antique business. Lots of traditional furniture that are
traded and exported abroad. The economic benefits are indeed big enough, but
we are losing our inheritance. Though such items also have historical value and
have a tourist attraction. If in the end things like that move out, our tourism will
lose the object that can be promoted.

Fifth, allocating funds for cultural development. In relation to the development

budget, physical infrastructure development budget seems to be the main
concern and absorbs a lot of funds. In fact, the development of physical facilities
is what directly destroys the cultural environment of certain communities. The
emergence of a magnificent hotel among the homes of residents brought a result
of changes in the culture of the surrounding community. It would be nice if in the
future the allocation of funds for cultural development was added or enlarged.
Traditional society actually still wants to play jathilan, tayub or slawat. However,
because of the budget problems they were unable to develop the culture. If there
is a budget available, surely they will be happy to hold jathilan performances
regularly, they will be happy to hold regular tayub performances. Especially if the
cultural actors get incentives in the form of tired money on their stage.
CHAPTER III
COVER

A. Conclusion

The idea of cultural heritage is seen as an important aspect that must be

protected in order to seek national identity based on a simple desire to devote
the glories of the past. As mentioned earlier, cultural pluraristics (diversity)
especially the performing arts can be used as a resource in the development of
cultural-minded tourism.
During this time, various ethnic groups of the Archipelago that are found in Bali,
especially Denpasar, have their original cultural potential, but their existence
between rights and obligations as citizens cannot be felt, so that cultural
diversity, especially the performing arts of the region has not been touched and
maximally utilized in supporting the development of cultural-oriented tourism.
Thus the need for intensive interaction and dialogue between the ethnic groups
of the archipelago with formal institutions, especially local governments and other
social organizations such as art studios, all to support the vision and mission of
regional development with cultural insights.
