DISCUSSION
On a larger scale, world welfare has an influence on people from all over the
world to get to know the cultures of other countries. One way to do this is to take
a tour. This curiosity generates economic benefits in the form of foreign
exchange entry into the state finances. In the end, the tourism business provides
a sizable profit from layered for the nation and society.
Seeing a number of indicators above, the development of the tourism sector
seems to be something important and needs special attention from various
parties. Because if this sector does not receive special attention, the chain of
income search starting from the pedicab drivers, tour guides, tour operators, until
the country's finances will be affected. Conversely, if the sector is of special
interest and in the end the sector will advance, many parties will benefit.
The main problem that we need to find a way out of is how we are able to
develop tourism with a cultural environment. In this case there are a number of
things that could be considered as alternatives to the development of tourism
with an insight into the cultural environment.
firstly the physical development carried out by the government and surrounding
communities regarding accessibility and services to the destination
Second, revive traditional cultural tourism. The traditional tourism meant here is
the presentation of various forms of traditional culture to the tourists. The forms
of traditional culture intended include jathilan, heirloom heirloom, sekaten,
dolanan boy, and traditional ceremonies. These forms of culture actually have a
high appeal but because they are rarely shown routinely, tourists sometimes
have difficulty watching it.
Third, provide cultural education to the younger generation. The source of
cultural decline actually stems from people's ignorance of the importance of
preserving culture for the survival of the tourism sector. As a result of this
ignorance, many young people actually follow a foreign culture rather than
maintaining their own culture. So, when they are dealing with tourists, what is put
forward is the attitudes and behaviors that imitate them, such as speaking in a
foreign language, dressing in a foreign style, and even behaving that is not in
accordance with their own culture.
Fourth, respect for ancestral heritage. The legacy of our ancestors in the form of
tosan aji, gebyog, traditional furniture, and other antiques seems to deteriorate
along with the rise of the antique business. Lots of traditional furniture that are
traded and exported abroad. The economic benefits are indeed big enough, but
we are losing our inheritance. Though such items also have historical value and
have a tourist attraction. If in the end things like that move out, our tourism will
lose the object that can be promoted.
