Short-term Intensive Training Training in this category lasts less than six weeks. It caters to overseas students of
various levels, with emphasis on such communicative skills as Chinese speaking and listening. Focused communicative

Registration Notice
Target Students The programs are offered to the international students who want to improve communicative
competence in Chinese within a short period of time.
Students are grouped into five classes of A, B, C, D ,E and F according to their respective levels upon admission to
meet the correspondent HSK standards of primary, intermediate and advanced levels.
For students who know the basic Chinese grammar and commonly
Class B used sentence patterns and can participate in continuous conversation
related to daily topics and are able to talk in simple passages .
Class C For students who are able to retell longer passages and can conduct
conversations about common topics in relatively well-organized
paragraphs.
For students who can read Chinese newspapers and literature works,
understand radio broadcasts and TV news programs and can express

themselves in spoken and written forms adequately, systematically
and creatively, with the appropriate diction and correct grammar.
Test Exams
Short-term intensive scheme and 12-week schemes have a test before finishing the program . One semester intensive
scheme has two exams--- mid-term exam and final exam.
