This thesis focused on describing the library satisfaction of tertiary students. A

descriptive survey research design was used where a total of 100 tertiary students from

Tarlac State University- Villa Lucinda Campus served as main sources of data. Through

the adoptation of Library Satisfaction Survey developed and validated by Rehman et al.,

(2011), answers to the questions were sought.

The study revealed that most of the students were agreed and satisfied with the

library as to reference collection, that it is adequate for their needs. Likewise, it was also

affirmed that the respondents are satisfied to the library as to reference staff, reference

services, electronic- reference services and facilities. Moreover, the study also confirmed

that the students were satisfied with the overall quality of reference services of Hon. Jose

V. Yap Library.

Areas of the library that the students are most and least satisfied was also postulated.

It discovered that reference collection ranked with the highest satisfaction and followed by

facilities. Besides, the study showed that reference staff ranked as third and then reference

services. The electronic- reference services ranked with the lowest satisfaction, but the
students still agreed and satisfied with the aforementioned sub- variable. Impressively, the

results clearly shows that the students are satisfied in all aspect of the library.

Additionally, school administrators should continuously facilitate the library

regularly to monitor failures. Students, must also give feedbacks about their concerns with

the library. Lastly, librarians, could conduct a survey to maintain the good quality of

services.
