station during the 1 "t quarter of 2019:

3. Blood is Life. The blood is primarily responsible for the distribution of

nutrients and orygen throughout the body and for the removal of waste from our cells.
This fact is acknowledged in the advocacy and mission of every Mass Blood Donation.
The Blood Bank of Red Cross Laguna in coordination with the Municipality of Victoria,
Laguna has successfully conducted its Bloodletting activity last February B, 2019 at the
municipal covered court in Victoria wherein several people from different walks of life
were gathered to share their lives voluntarily by means of giving their blood. Personnel of
Victoria Fire station were among those blood donors. The primary objective of the said
activity is to collect a variety of blood products that will be utilized in saving the lives of
patients especially among in-patients of Laguna provincial Hospital who are in need of
blood.

 4. ln line with the campaign of the Bureau of Fire Protection in equipping the
school children with the knowledge, proper attitude and skills on what to do in case of a
natural and man-made disasters like earthquake and fire, Central Elementary School of
Victoria, Laguna with the guidance and supervision of Victoria Fire Station Personnel
conducted its quarterly drills in the school campus on January 31, 2019 at exactly 0900H
for earthquake drill and 1400H for fire drill. The school principal led the activity with the
teachers and their respective classes while the BFP personnel served as observers. The
drill was carried out smoothly. All grade levels occupied the designated area for them
based on the school evacuation plan.

 5. Another activity was carried out during the fire prevention month to
strengthen the safety awareness of public through dancing..Zumba Laban saSunog was
organiz€d by Vicloria Fir6 Station headed by SFO2 Lawrence Esteban. Among the
participants were the teachers from different schools in the area of responsibility.

 6. Media plays a very important role to disseminate information to the public.
Max TV8, a TV channel localize in Laguna with its own Tv production name as reel to
screen, conducted interview to the personnel of Victoria Fire Station in connection with
fire prevention month 20'lg. Aside from interviews, video recordings were done.

FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 2019 EPISODE...

7. People from various sectors in the municipality, barangay ofiicials of the 9

(nine) barangays of Victoria, Laguna, DepEd teachers and administrators and students
from secondary high school of Banca-Banca, have gathered together and rallied for a
cause for the Educational Fun Run.
