    COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION


    1. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY

    Tester connection to Specified condition


    Switch position
    terminal number
    OFF No continuity
    TAIL Continuity
    HEAD Continuity

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.


    2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH CONTINUITY

    Tester connection to
    Switch position Specified condition
    terminal number
    Low beam Continuity
    High beam Continuity
    Flash Continuity

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.


    TURN SIGNAL SWITCH INSPECTION

    INSPECT TURN SIGNAL SWITCH CONTINUITY


    Tester connection to
    Switch position Specified condition
    terminal number
    Left turn Continuity
    Neutral No continuity
    Right turn Continuity

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.


    HEADLIGHT CONTROL RELAY
    INSPECTION
    INSPECT HEADLIGHT CONTROL RELAY CONTINUITY

    Condition Tester connection to Specified condition


    terminal number
    Constant Continuity
    Apply B + between
    Continuity
    terminals 1 and 2.

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
