Brief History of ADFC Graduate School
Asian Development Foundation Child Care Center Program
of Leyte started operating in 1984 with the Pre-School Program. The following year the Elementary Department started. The High School Department was granted government permit by the Department of Education Culture & Sports in 1991 through Director Victoriano B. Tirol II. In 1994, the college was granted government permit by Director Venancio R. Nava of the department of Education Culture & Sports to operate the following degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Bachelor of Science in Commerce Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Associate in Computer Science Associate in Computer Secretarial Course On April 27, 1994, the Graduate School Program started its operation under government permit issued by Director Venancio R. Nava. Government Permit No. 11 – Master in Business Administration Government Permit No. 15 – Master in Business Education Government Permit No. 16 – Master in Management Government Permit No. 17- Master of Arts in Philippine Studies
In School Year 1995 – 1996, Government Permit granted
the opening & conduct of the Master of Arts in Education Program. By June of 1996 all graduate courses were given government recognition by the Commission on Higher Education through the Regional Director Bonifacio N. Acapulco. ADFC was awarded the Center of Development for Excellence (CODEs) in Information technology Education thru CHED-Memorandum Order No. 07 s. 2000 on February 24, 2000.
