    POSITIVE: THE POWER AND FAITH AND PRAYER

    It is universally accepted that prayer supported by faith can work miracle in our lives. According to
    the book of James 5:16-18 “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man
    just like us, He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and half
    year. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced it crops.” Here are some
    objectives of my position paper. First, Prayer is the best powerful weapon we have to face whatever
    problems and trials come to our life. Second, Have faith and always look above.

    CREFLO DOLLAR said, there’s no denying that we’re engaged in spiritual battles every day and as
    Christians we often feel the effects of the enemy’s attacks. Each time we take a step forward, we’re met
    with resistance in the form of doubt, fear, persecution, or any number of other strategies Satan uses
    against us. However, God will never leave us and were not fighting the battles alone. He has armed us
    with a number of spiritual weapons, and prayer is one of the most powerful tools at our disposal. Our
    prayers connect us with God, strengthen us for the fight, and keep us grounded. They open a dialogue
    with him and reveal things to us we can only learn from Him. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and
    show thee great and mighty things, which thou Knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3). When we’re wrestling with
    something and feel like we’ve reached a dead end, prayer brings us into the presence of the one who
    makes way when there is no way. According to Padre Pio, “Prayer is the best weapon we have; it is the
    key to Gods heart. You must speak to Jesus not only with your lips, but with your heart. In fact on certain
    occasions you should only speak to Him with your heart.”

    According to Br. David Vryhof, Something mysterious happens to us when we find something to
    believe. We discover that some task, some project, some idea has so captured our imaginations that we
    want to give ourselves wholeheartedly to it. We become dedicated to its fulfillment. Perhaps it lead us to
    support a cause or join a campaign, perhaps to take up a new role or responsibility, perhaps to make a
    commitment of time, energy or financial resources. Whatever it is, new cause captures our attention and
    awakens our passion. We believe in what we are doing, and we commit ourselves to it with our whole
    being. This is what is faith is about, Faith is the center of Christian life. We profess that we have been
    saved by faith, and that we now live by faith.

    Prayer is not just a word, it is the best way for us to conquer every struggle we have. If were
    having bad times, just pray. If we are down, just pray. Just talk to the almighty God and he will be the
    one to comfort and be with us. Whatever happens don’t lose faith. Everything happens for a reason, just
    trust and commit everything to the Father above and he will guide and help us.
