n DamTargetFiles folder, that contains temporary files for saved clips/images of the
current exam.
n Panoramic folder, that contains temporary files for saved Panoramic (VPan tool) im‐
ages of the current exam.
n ThreeD folder, that contains temporary files for saved 3D/4D clips/images of the cur‐
rent exam.
The ACUSON P300 system is a PC based system; data loss or driver damage may occur if
the system is turned off while working. The shut down procedure avoids these prob‐
lems.
The Shut Down Log file allows the service to verify if the procedure is correctly followed.
n Dinamo-Dicom Service_0.txt file, where the failed operations are traced. Each Dicom
operation is identified by an UID number. Any error, when present, after a certain UID
number can indicate which operation fails.
n QueueSerial.xml file, where the Dicom operations are queued “Operations” option of
the media menu).
n Log folder, that traces the used Dicom libraries.
1. MediaRec Service_0.txt, where the DVD recording process operations are traced.
Each DVD recording operation is identified by an UID number. Any error, when
present, after a certain UID number can indicate which operation fails.
2. MediaRecQueue.xml, where the queue of the DVD recording operations is traced
(“Operations” option of the media menu).
1.3.1.10 ThreeDLogs
The folder traces the main operations done in the 3D/4D environment.
1.4.1 Communication Error with the CONTROL BOARD (TGC) and Communica‐
tion Error with the CONTROL BOARD
When the system displays one of the following messages:
n Communication error with the CONTROL BOARD (TGC) Please, contact the uptime
center. Press <PROBE> to continue.
n Communication error with the CONTROL BOARD Please, contact the uptime center.
Press <PROBE> to continue.
there is a communication problem between the Processor board and the Control board.
This means that the Processor CPU (responsible for Imaging functions) correctly starts
while the ETX board (responsible for measurement, annotation, archive, peripherals func‐
tions) does not boot at all.
1.5.1.1 Flowchart
The flowchart below provides possible solutions.
1.5.2.1 Flowchart
At any time the system could display an error message stating that some Windows file is
corrupted or that some error occurs.
1.5.3.1 Suggestions
Install the Software again.
If the problem persists, write down the error message (or save an image), collect the log
and System Configurations files and get in touch with the Uptime Center.
1.5.4.1 Suggestions
Check the hard drive (HD) free space by positioning the cursor on the HD icon.
Fig. 4: Hard Drive Icons
The colored circle displayed in the HD icon can be used as an immediate feedback on the
free space. The green sector indicates full space availability. When the sector is displayed
in yellow, it is suggested to copy the archive on an external support to free space; when
in orange the copy of the archive is mandatory. Once done, cancel the copied exams from
the internal archive.
If the HD is not full, collect the log and System Configurations files and get in touch with
the Uptime Center.

Flowchart
Fig. 7: USB Memory Drive Not Recognized Flowchart
Suggestions
1. Check if the Archive folder is in the main support root. If not, move the Archive folder
at the first root level.
2. Collect the system configuration and log files, and get in touch with the Uptime Cen‐
ter.
1.5.5.6 Windows Printer Not Active
Symptoms
The Windows printer has been installed but the system is not printing.
Suggestions
The printer could not print simply because it is still disabled. The below flow chart indi‐
cates the possible solutions.
Flowchart
Fig. 8: Windows Printer Not Active Flowchart
Flowchart
The printer is installed and set but it is not recognized by the system (the disabled periph‐
eral icon is displayed).
Suggestions
1. If the printer is an USB printer, connect it to the other USB port available.
2. If the problem persists, write down the printer model, collect the log and System Con‐
figurations files and get in touch with the Uptime Center.
1.5.5.9 Network Directory
Symptoms
It is not possible to access to the network directory.
Flowchart
Fig. 10: Network Directory Flowchart
Flowchart
Fig. 11: DICOM Test Connection Flowchart
Suggestions
1. Check the DICOM settings (AE Title) both in the system and in the server. Note that
the AE Title is case sensitive.
2. If the problem persists, collect the log and System Configurations files and get in
touch with the Uptime Center.
1.5.5.12 No Server Connection even if the Test Connection is OK
Symptoms
The test connection is OK but a connection error occurs with every DICOM operation.
Suggestions
1. Check the DICOM settings (AE Title) both in the system and in the server. Note that
the AE Title is case sensitive and that the DICOM server could not have checked this
parameter during the test connection.
2. If the problem persists, collect the log and System Configurations files and get in
touch with the Uptime Center.
