CURRICULUM VITAE Laks Ade Supandi English
Admiral Ade Supandi is currently the Chief of The Indonesian Navy. Graduated
from the Indonesian Naval Academy in 1983. From 1981 to 2005, he has
served in variety of roles, either posted to various KRI (Indonesian Warships)
where he assumed command of many warships (from Patrol Ships, Corvette,
up to Frigate), or as a staff officer. From 2005 to 2007, he was posted as
Training Officer for SIGMA project in Netherland and many strategic and
education appointment to Commodore which led him up to many high level
postings. He was promoted to Commodore in 2008 and appointed as the
Commandant of Naval Education Command for Sea Operations. In 2009 he was appointed as Commandant of
Sea Security Task Force of Western Fleet Command. In 2010 he was promoted to Rear Admiral and appointed
as Governor of Indonesian Naval Academy prior as Commander of Eastern Fleet Command. In 2012 he was
appointed as Assistant Chief of the Indonesian Navy as Planning and Budgeting. In 2014 he was assigned as
Chief of Staff of General Staff of Indonesian National Defence Forces, then he was promoted as Chief of the
Indonesian Navy
During his career, he has completed military courses and educations required to reach the highest level within
the Indonesian National Defence Forces. He also done many overseas courses such as NBCD School and
Team Training (Netherland) in 1986, CIC Watch and ASQ Officer Course (USA) in 1988, CTT Parchim Class
(Germany) in 1993, Joint Warfare Course (Australia) in 1999.
Admiral Ade Supandi and his wife Endah Esti Hartantiningsih have two children Anindita Rivy Larasati and
Sergeant Cadet Andaru Dhimas Nugraha Vidianto currently cadet in Indonesian Naval Academy.
