A Review on 3600 Detik
3600 Detik is a 2014 Indonesian romantic drama movie whose was released theaters in Indonesia on April 13, 2014. The movie is based on best seller Charon’s novel, 3600 Detik (2013). The movie was production by Starvision Plus which the best movie production and it directed by Nayato Fio Nuala. The movie was played due 2 hours and written by Haqi Achmad. This movie was cast Stefan William, who was the famous actor in 2014 and he as the main leads. The others casts Shae, Wulan Guritno, Febi Febiola, Joshua Herman, and Agung Udijana. The movie was editing by Tiara Rani with producers by Chand Parwez Servia, Fiaz Servia, Raza Servia. This movie was made by Indonesia, so the language in this movie is Indonesian. By the way, 3600 Detik was released theaters in Canada on August 15, 2014. The budget to made this movie was 15-20 million rupiah, the directed said. This movie had a good cinematography, Reddy A. Lingga who is talented in art. The story begins when Sandra life suddenly changed when her parents divorced. To show the anger, Sandra dyed her hair to be red. Now nobody want to be her friends. Mother tried to improve the situation and to take Sandra moved out of the city. In the new school, Sandra met Leon, a champion who is very friendly. In general, most people are afraid to Sandra curt and sloppy. In general, Sandra red hair make other people look at her strangely. But Leon is different. Leon offers Sandra friendship. Leon brought Sandra on an exciting new adventure. Naughtiness that made Sandra makes Mr. Doni commissioned Leon supervise Sandra and make a daily schedule where Sandra and Leon have to learn together. Over time, Sandra and Leon closer. Sandra gave a new color in the Leon life previously tasted flat. Leon helped Sandra to be better. When everything was getting better, Leon suddenly disappeared and could not be reached. Worse still, Leon turned out to save a big secret and Sandra never knew. Leon had a heart disease. When Sandra knew, she will given Leon a chance to felt normal life for 3600 seconds in the recreation park. A year later, Sandra visited the grave of Leon. She proved that she has changed. Sandra had to repaint her hair black. She also now has officially become a medical student. Many people says 3600 Detik novel is good but when Nayato made it in movie, he made the movie was failed. Many people says that the film is not as interest and sad novel. Blame Nayato for this, he’s the one that ruined the whole thing. First, so many mistaken. Stefan William can’t play the piano well in this movie, he didn’t touched the piano. And another wrong thing is nobody crew told him how to play the piano for the real. Second, we know that if we took a photo in Polaroid camera that was need a long time to seen the photo, and when Leon took a photo of Sandra, Leon can seen it after it taken. Third, scene when Sandra’s mom called, that isn’t looked like she was called. In fact, Charon choosed the wrong directed to made the novel into the movie. The movie felt so short and many scenes were lost. Conflicts have finished without anybody did it. The scene when we hope it will be so sad there isn’t in the movie. Beside the shortcomings, 3600 Detik had excess. The movie also earned a profit of 50 million and watched by thousands of people. In addition, 3600 Detik had become a trending topic on youtube and watched by 1.200 viewers. Most of them are girls who love Stefan William. After that, 3600 Detik got in top 10 movies with many viewers and as the winner on Indonesia Movie Awards 2014 in favorite movie category. Furthermore, Stefan William won as best actor on 2014 and he also won as a favorite couple with Shae. And then, Chand Parwez took a song as soundtrack from Birdy, an international singer with the title is Heart of Gold. In the Cinema Awards, the song is the runner up of favorite soundtrack. I don’t recommend you to watch the movie, but I think the movie isn’t bad to watch. The movie has many problems that you can’t estimate. Maybe somebody feel the movie is interesting because they curious what wiil be happened. For who have a couple, it will be fun and enjoy to watch the movie together. If you are a romantic movie lovers, you must watch it. You can know a new thing. I think you should read the novel before you watch the movie. You can see many scenes was lost and mistaken. But, don’t blame full the director. He had tried to do the best. Then, the movie had messages for everyone was watched that is we have to receive situation in our life. Everybody have a different life, as money, chance, family, and others. Other messages aren’t to judge others from the outside only, because there are people who brave front but behind injured. And the other messages are we have to respect our parents or who older than our self. We have to polite and humble for everyone. If we have to respect anyone, sometimes they will be respect our self too. Oh yaa.. the soundtracks are good to the heard for who is falling in love.
