A descriptive essay is a form of essay that describes something. like describing objects,
things, places, experiences, persons, and situations. we can use sensory information to enable
readers to use their five senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing, and sight to understand the topic
of the essay.

A descriptive essay should make for interesti ng reading. To make the essay
appealing, the writer needs to consider audience preferences, and use words and
descripti ons that pique readers' interest.
Visualizati on
Descripti ve essays are based more on "show" than "tell" -- giving readers a visual
idea of the subject. For example, a "tell" sentence would be, "The sun disappeared
into the water." The same sentence in "show" mode might read, "The setti ng sun
disappeared in a blaze of red and gold glory, swallowed up, it would seem, by the
vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean." Through vivid depicti ons, the writer conveys to
readers individual impressions based on emoti ons or percepti ons.

In the body there are three paragraphs. Paragraph 1 telling about the object
itself. Paragraph 2 about surroundings of an object, person, or situation. And paragraph three
about sensual and emotional description uses sense of taste, touch, smell, sound, sight, and
emotional description in order to make the experience “alive”
C. Conslusion
Restate the meaning and idea of this experience for the writer

my favorite place at UNISA is its new building called building C. there is a basement for parking
of 4-wheeled vehicles and this C building has a height of approximately 8 floors. a very modern
and very amazing place to make students very comfortable. not only that, this building has a
canteen that will later sell various kinds of food so that students do not need to go off or go out
from campus just to buy food
