PROPERTIES:
Ni-Hard IV is a variant of a Cr-Ni-alloyed white cast iron which is known internationally under the name of Ni-
Hard.
Ni-Hard is available in several types.
Ni-Hard IV is at least 3 times as resistant to impacts than Ni-Hard II. It is highly resistant to abrasive wear.
The material can be finished by grinding and machining with carbide-tipped tool.

When reference to this MAT NO appears on FLS Drawing or FLS Parts List or in FLS Purchace Order the data from the
Primary Standard is used as acceptance criteria.
Specific deviations in requirements made in the FLS Parts List, the FLS Purchace Order or a FLS Instruction always
overrules this data sheet.
Alternatively accepted International Standards listed in this sheet may be used if the suppliers documentation covers at
least the documentation required in the Primary Listed Standard. This means that supplementary tests in some cases
will be necessary.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS:
Shall be delivered quenched and tempered according to the appropriated standard and required
hardness. Can be machined by special tools or cold grinding.
