SEMS Welfare Foundation is a professional, not for profit Company registered under Section 8 of Companies
Act, 2013 bearing Registration Number U80904DL2019NPL347912 as well as with NITI Aayog in their NGO
Darpan portal and with MSME. Also recognition as Best Service Award for Significant National Contribution
from ITS Education Group.

FemLeads is an initiative of SEMS Welfare Foundation which narrates the tales of successful female entrepreneurs
with regular workshops and newsletters on Women Empowerment. Femleads has conducted awareness program
in Digital and Financial literacy, Digital Marketing, Career Development in various industries like Travel &
Tourism, Construction, Retail, Finance, Apparel, Handicraft, Food Processing across states of Rajasthan, Haryana,
Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand impacting the lives of over 1000 women. Femleads has recently crossed a century
in the number of women associated with this channel.

Digisaksham is another initiative of SEMS Welfare Foundation and has developed content for over 300 courses
in multiple languages which range from 4 hours to 6 months in various sectors of IT, BFSI, Retail, Entrepreneurship
for all age groups from school children, youth, professionals and senior citizens with over 6000 trainings till date.

In its short time of existence SEMS Welfare foundation is executing a skilling project for 600 inmates across 2
jails in state of Haryana. Additionally an MOU has also been signed to execute training in domains of
Entrepreneurship, Livelihood Generation and Capacity Building to nearly 4000 students and Upskilling of
Faculty members of a prestigious university in Uttar Pradesh.

SEMS Welfare Foundation is a part of SEMS Group which consists of Society of Engineering and Management
Sciences (SEMS) and SEMS Webz Solutions Pvt Ltd existing for over 3 years.

SEMS Group has conducted 4 International Conferences in emerging technologies in states of Rajasthan, Uttar
Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh and has an active network of 5000 plus Engineers, Managers,
Researchers, Industrialists, Consultants and Public Bodies who share interest in contributing to the Society through
the academic means of Education and Research. SEMS Group has also organized more than 100 Education and
Basic Health Care Camps for under privileged children in slum areas of Uttar Pradesh. SEMS Group additionally
promotes Digital and Financial Literacy and has organized more than 100 camps in rural places and for senior
citizens across India.

SEMS Webz Solutions is the technical arm of SEMS and handles the entire online activities, content generation,
market approach, social media interaction and IT enabled activities. SEMS Webz Solutions is recognized as a
Startup by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), MCI. SEMS Webz was involved in the
prestigious project of Ardh Kumbh 2019 at Prayagraj. SEMS Webz Solutions under the brand of Bankedge has
placed over 150 candidates in multiple private Banks in the last 3 months across India.
LEADERSHIP TEAM
Dr. (Prof.) V.K. Srivastava
Dr. (Prof.) V.K. Srivastava is Ex-Dean, Industrial Research & Development with more than 35
years of teaching and research experience as a faculty of chemical engineering in IIT Delhi.
His administrative experience includes President, IIChE (Indian Institute of Chemical
Engineers). He is PhD in Chemical Engineering, University of Wales, Swansea, UK 1983 and
M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has Co-
authored various chapters on engineering and environmental topics in national and
international books, and is also an active member in various international organisations. He
is Editor-in-Chief, ISST Journal of Applied Chemistry (IJAC).
Prof. P.K. Bharti
Dr. (Prof.) P.K. Bharti is Vice chancellor of Maharishi University of Information Technology
(MUIT), Lucknow with more than 18 years of work experience in Education, Training, Skilling
and Entrepreneurship Sectors across India. He has worked with organisations like AIMT, IILM,
MIET etc. He has a proven track record streamlining workflow and creating a team work
environment to enhance productivity innovatively for reputed business houses. Dr. Bharti was
awarded Ph.D. from Ranchi University in Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering.

Ramesh Gera
Ramesh is an Ex Associate (NISE), PAN India Coordinator for Suryamitra Skill Development
Program of MNRE with over 35 years of work experience in Corporate, Training, Skilling and Solar
Sectors across India. Ramesh had worked with organisations like Escorts Yamaha, Swaraj Mazda,
Denso India, Samtel Color, Ispat Group etc. He has international exposure to Japan, Korea,
Taiwan, UAE, Libya, Nigeria, Bosnia, Croatia, and Bulgaria. Ramesh holds a B.Sc. Engg. (Elect.)
Degree in with MBA (Operations Management) & Adv. Diploma (Professional Development in
Training). He is certified Master Black Belt (Six Sigma) and Solar PV System Integrator.
Prof. S.L. Sharma
P rof SL Sharma is a Mechanical Engineer from BITS, Pilani and did his Masters from IIT Bombay.
After working at Aluminum Corporation of India he joined the IAF and held the post of Chief
Engineer, Joint Director Projects at Air HQ, Senior Instructor and retired as the Director (Air
Commodore) of AFTC Bangalore. He has been a guest lecturer at forums such as College of Air
Warfare (Hyderabad), Institute of Armament Technology (Pune) etc. He led a 20 member
technical team to assist in repairs of a Nuclear reactor at RAPP Kota in 1982. His 40 years of
rich engineering and instructional experience was crowned by the “Vishist Seva Medal” from
the President of India. He has visited a number of high tech industries in France, England, Israel
and USA. He is a keen sportsman, swimmer and a mountaineer. He has been teaching
Mechanical Engineering subjects, IC Engines, TQM and Project Management.

Amitabh Sanyal
Amitabh has worked in Key Account Management, Business Development, Brand Expansion,
Team Management, Client Relationship Management, Retail Operations, Employability and
Project Management over two decades of work experience in Education, Training, Skilling and
Entrepreneurship Sectors across India, Middle East & Nepal. Amitabh has worked with
reputed organisations like NIIT, GEMS, DA etc as well as startups like VT and i9, He has
executed projects with various Government and quasi Government entities in India and
abroad. He has a proven track record streamlining workflow and creating a team work
environment to enhance productivity innovatively for reputed business houses. Amitabh
holds a B. Tech Degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Diploma in Management.

Neeti Bisht
Neeti is a budding Entrepreneur with over 8 years of academics and research experience. She
is actively associated with various women led firms and guides them in establishing digital
presence of their enterprises. She is an active volunteer with NASSCOM Foundation and
Anubhuti Seva among other social ventures. She has organized and conducted various
awareness programs and workshops in the field of Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship
Development across various industries as well as prominent universities. She has completed
MTech in Information and Communication Technology and is a certified Faculty of
Entrepreneurship from NIESBUD.
Upma Bansal
Upma is a dynamic professional with nearly 7 years cross cultural experience in assertive
Leadership & Team Management, planning, scheduling, tasking, monitoring, delegating,
motivating & mentoring the team for performance excellence Prior to join as Director, SEMS
Welfare Foundation worked with various schools & universities wher responsibilities include
Strategy Formulation, Marketing, Teaching and Program Management. Actively associated
with various women enterprises and guiding them with the marketing support. Also
associated in volunteering activities with foundation as Nasscom. Organized and conducted
various awareness programs and workshops in the field of Vedic Maths, Digital & Financial
Literacy Programs and Entrepreneurship Development. Upma was awared as “Best Teacher
Award” in 2015 from Ministry of HRD by HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani.
Atul Garg
Atul is a technically sophisticated and business-savvy senior management professional with 8+ years experience in the
areas of Delivery/Program Management, Quality Management, Service Transition
Management, Proposal/Contract Management, Change Management activities, Key Account
Management, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Business Development, Operations and
Project Management. Atul possess Extensive exposure to a comprehensive range of team
management activities, working in diverse teams and challenging environment, Operations,
Government Projects, Marketing & Sales and Project Management. Prior to SEMS Group he
was associated with GEMS Group, ICFE, KDP MGI etc. He has Conducted various awareness
programs and workshops in the field of Digital Marketing, Financial & Digital Literacy
Programs and Entrepreneurship Development across various industries and universities. He is a certified trainer from
Government of India for conducting Entrepreneurship trainings.
