SAP Local Printing PDF

Configure the default printer in SAP to be locl by running transaction su3, clicking the Defaults tab, typing locl in the OutputDevice box and checking Output Immediately, then saving. Users can then print from any SAP transaction by clicking the print button to select the local Windows printer from the list.

Configure your default printer in SAP to be locl.

 
‐Logon to SAP and run transaction su3.  Type /nsu3 in the top left box. 

‐Hit Enter key and should see the following: 

 
‐Click the Defaults tab. 

‐Type locl in the OutputDevice box and check the Output Immediately box. 

‐Click the Orange Disk Icon in the top middle to save your settings. 
Print from SAP using your Local Windows Print Queues. 
‐Logon to SAP and go into a transaction that you normally print from. 

‐Click the print button located in the top middle of the screen. 

‐You can select the Windows printer from the list or leave the default printer.  Click the green check box 
to print and you will see a window similar to the following:
