“Good nutrition means good health and good health is man’s greatest wealth.

Our greatly-respected members of the Cabarian National High School faculty and staff spearheaded by
our Principal, Ma’am Mercy O. Alapad, to our active and supportive PTA officers, headed by our PTA
President, Mr. Edison Lagunsin, to our dear and ever supportive Barangay Captain, Mrs. Zenaida J. Liza,
SK officials headed by our SK President, Ms. Janice Balingasa, parents, students, guests, ladies and
gentlemen, a healthy morning to all of you!
It give us immense pleasure to welcome you all to the 2019 Nutrition Month Culmination Program with
its theme, “Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo…push natin ‘to!”
To start unraveling today’s celebration of good nutrition, may we all rise and be in one mind, body and
spirit as we praise and thank our Almighty for all His graces and blessings through an opening prayer.
After which we shall remain standing as we pay tribute to our heroes by singing the Philipine National
Anthem, Ms. Arlene M. Berganio, Teacher-I MAPEH, conducting.
You may all be seated.
It’s a perfect day to celebrate nutrition and health, isn’t it?
Well, today is not just a culmination. It is also a celebration to show that we value life through good
nutrition. As a salute to the celebration of life, let us all lend our ears for the opening remarks of our
health-loving TLE Coordinator, Mr. Allan M. Ollet. A round of applause please.
Thank you, Sir for the heartwarming words of welcome.
Just a little background about this year’s theme-it actually encourages everyone to advocate and realize
the importance of healthy diets, increased physical activity and reduced sedentary behavior. What’s
even more interesting is that pushing the advocacy means that each and every one can contribute to
better nutrition and physical activity for better health.
Our program won’t be complete without the inspirational message of our dedicated and compassionate
principal, Ma’am Mercy O. Alapad.
Thank you, Ma’am for the inspiring and insightful message you have imparted.
Healthy students manifest dynamism and enthusiasm in everything that they do. To prove to you this
statement, here is/are the selected students of Cabarian National High School for an intermission
number. Our loudest cheers for them please.
Thank you students for showing your enthusiasm on stage. That was remarkably impressive!
At this juncture, we are pleased to have our dear and ever supportive Barangay Captain, Mrs. Zenaida J.
Liza, to deliver her inspirational message.
Thank you, Kap!
And without further ado, let us hear another inspirational message from our active and supportive PTA
President, Mr. Edison Lagunsin.
Thank you, Pres!
We have a long day ahead, and I know that you could no longer wait for our lineup of fun and exciting
activities. So here we go!
