Introduction

As a Production Manager at A. C. Gilbert, who has

developed an idea for improving efficiencies in the
manufacturing process at A. C. Gilbert. The idea came as a
result of the innovative ideas program and tested the
program on one line in the processing plant. Now I will
process the implementing the program company-wide. I
developed action plans, contingency plans and continuous
improvement. The action plans include transition plan and
communication plan with draft and final report.

off and on in areas where lights do not need to
remain on all the time
 A simple way to implement this is to hold “lunch and
learns” where you either bring in a speaker, share a
video, or facilitate a discussion on a topic related to
sustainability. Use this curated list of sustainability
videos to get you started.

Activities to reduce any negative impact on people

Evaluation activities, regularly repeated over a

suitable timeframe
Our regular activities that we keep repeat are
providing training to staffs. There has regular training in
every 3 months and when changing is coming to
company. Then we also have annual training to refresh
information in all areas. Training is important to staff to
enhance their knowledge, skill and confidence to perform
their roles. The trainer should have strong presentation
and speaking skills and understand how to deliver the
training to maximize outcome.
Evaluation activities to capture learnings from all
work activities
The solutions that will help manager identify any key
points that we introduce into work practice or where
further learning and development is required are
evaluating staff learning and development activity. It is
necessary to record staff survey and staff evaluation in
order to demonstrate that company are addressing their
learning and development needs. This process is
important; it will help manager understand if further
learning and development is required to help staff achieve
what they set out to learn.

Activities to embed learning into work processes.

Helping staff leverage staff networks will provide a
significant step towards embedding learning in the
workplace. Supporting learning in the context of team or
group collaboration is not about making people take
courses as they do their work- it is about helping them
share their own knowledge, experiences, ideas and
resources with others as part of their daily workflow

Conclusion
After introducing the new manufacturing process, the
production lines become faster and more efficient. The
further training is still needed to help employees
understanding what % rates have to do with their day-to-
day workload.
