Provided intensive rehabilitation, diagnostic, and screening services at a skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation hospital.
Treated neurologically based communicative disorders and dysphagia to rotating caseload of adults. Educated patients and
caregivers on treatment plans, diet modifications, and strategies for safety upon returning home. Communicated with patient
insurance regarding progress, plan of care, and length of stay as appropriate. Worked on interprofessional rehabilitation team
including occupational therapists (OT) and physical therapists (PT). Trained in Synchrony sEMG biofeedback.
Blue Ridge Speech and Hearing Center, Graduate Clinician Lansdowne, VA: Aug. 2019-Dec. 2019
Provided intervention and diagnostic services to both children and adults in a non-profit private practice. Completed
comprehensive diagnostic evaluations incorporating patient history, clinical interview, formal assessment, and informal assessment
measures. Wrote thorough evaluation reports, including diagnoses, long and short term goals, and recommendations for future
services. Led individual patient sessions addressing a variety of goals, compiled data, and recommended changes to goals as
necessary. Targeted speech and language impairments secondary to diagnoses including Alzheimer's Disease, autism spectrum

Provided speech and language intervention and diagnostic services at a public elementary school. Assisted with caseload including
a self-contained special education preschool program. Provided individual and group interventions both in the classroom and in the
therapy room. Treated goals as written in Individualized Education Plans and tracked data in the form of daily and monthly
progress notes. Utilized and became familiar with LAMP Words For Life AAC device for both special education students and
typical students as part of a whole student body program aimed to familiarize all students and educators with the use of AAC
devices. Participated in the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) preschool classroom by providing speech and language
services and collaborating with OT and PT services to teach fundamental speech and language, gross motor, and fine motor skills.

Provided voice and swallowing diagnostic and intervention services at a hospital outpatient center. Reviewed patient history to
plan for diagnostic sessions, conducted clinical swallowing evaluations, patient interviews, modified barium swallow (MBS)
studies, and assisted with stroboscopy studies. Wrote reports including complete write up of MBS or appropriate exam, including
recommendations for safe swallow strategies, diet modifications, and goals for future therapy as needed. Provided patient
education for strategies and lifestyle changes, as well as candidacy for voice and/or swallowing therapy. Treated a variety of voice
and swallowing disorders, including dysphagia, organic and functional voice disorders, and motor speech disorders.
