    Tubing Mounted Junk Basket


    UMS Flowell’s tubing mounted junk basket is an integral part of the completion tubing string that is used as
    a means of catching dropped debris between the casing and tubing annulus such as broken cable bands,
    bolts and other items that maybe accidentally dropped into a well.

    The junk basket can be configured for above an ESP to prevent debris falling and blocking the pump intake,
    or alternatively the junk basket can be configured with a perforated pup joint above the junk basket and
    used below an ESP to prevent debris falling in to the lower completion.

     Available for 9-5/8” production casing and for 3-1/2” and 4-1/2” tubing
    sizes
     Two cable slots with cable retaining clips
     High powered directional magnet to collect debris inside junk basket
    base
     Can be used for above and below an ESP. Perforated pup joint option
    for below an ESP
     Top guide shoe for aiding pulling out of hole
     Box x pin thread configuration
