    Mission Control Security Gateway

    Installation guide

    Preparation
    Mission Control Security Services
    by Open Systems AG
    Check that you have the following items:

    • 1 Security Gateway device

    • 1 power cable
    Note: If the power cable does not fit, get a local power cable instead.

    • 2 Ethernet cables (black)

    • 1 card with ticket number

    ISP LAN

    Installation
    To set up the Security Gateway, follow the steps below:

    Step 1
    Mount the Security Gateway device into the rack.

    Step 2
    1. Connect the power supply.

    2. On the back of the Security Gateway device, press the ON switch.


    Check that the green power light is on.

    Step 3
    Connect the device:

    1. Use an Ethernet cable to connect port 0 to your ISP access network (internet).
    Check that the hardware link signal light for port 0 is on.

    2. Use an Ethernet cable to connect port 1 to your corporate network (LAN).


    If there are any problems during the Check that the hardware link signal light for port 1 is on.

    Step 4
    1-800-724-2407 (US toll free) Email the ticket number from the card to support@open.ch and request a connectivity check.

    Important: The subject field of the email must contain the ticket number.
